Can't blame people, SE encourages this behavior with their actions. We'll see what happens this week.
I see at least 50 people camping each Sanctuary area.
They just parked their characters there.
Saw a person afk on top of that tower in coretha(sp?) all day its been at least 15hrs. Personally don't bother me but it is what it is. Feel bad for you all that haven't been able to log in but afk people aren't the problem. Hope they get this issue resolved soon.
It's so true, no one can deny it. :(
Honestly.. I look forward to seeing if things are fixed by Wednesday.. if not, I can't say they have the right, or good team behind this game. Customer Support screen shots are fun to look at if you get a chance. They made almost no sense.. just a copy/paste. xD
AFK people are a small part of the problem, yes, they are. A timed kicker would solve much of the delay issues, in a fair manner to all, not just those logging in and never leaving because their ISP doesn't reset, don't have storms/etc that forces power, blah blah.
They won't be fixed Wednesday at all really, they only really promised New Servers for New Toons to be created on. Everything else is rumor speculation and hope.
too many people know that Square FAILED. to implement a timer for afk users. why would i pay money for an mmo that doesn't function properly and i cant log into. i will not be paying for this game. period
Logging out when not around the system? No way!!! Oh wait.. that's just common sense, to give the system a break, to give the server a break, and to let someone else enjoy playing for a bit.....
but we all know common sense is long gone with this generation of idiots we call gamers.
Thats a little out of line, don't you think? You and I both know, we would all pull the same thing if we got our foot in the door. I'm not saying I'm proud of it, but I will definitely call a spade a spade.
Look, the issue lays in poor server management. I for one would and had stayed afk in XI for at the minimum of 3 days at a time. And I remember when the PS2 service went on line. It was horrendous. After a bit, they worked it out, and 11 years later, boom, zero server problems. There is no need to bash people who happened to get in, and are frankly worried/livid/terrified about the roaming issues.
In closing, let's just give them time, keep spamming 0, and hope for the best.
