Ticket constantly getting closed

Let me tell you a cool story... It's the story of a guy who registed his pre-order code (or Early access code) and never received any game activation key :(..

Like any other regular fan, he opened a ticket and described his problem... 24 hours later he finally received a mail from Square Enix. Unfortunately it was just a bot saying that his ticket had finally been received. "24 hours later ?!" He said to himself :confused:.. when suddenly, another mail arrived !! or should i say, THE mail arrived and a looooooong silence followed.

Square enix: ''your ticket has been closed in order to prioritise time-sensitive issues'' AKA ''go get an ice-cream dude because we actually don't give a ****... come back later''

Heart broken.. that guy is still waiting

Well, did you register the preorder bonus key at the right place, on the 20th or later?
Or did you just add it to the membership site?

Yep had this message aswell, ticket closed without any resolution to the problem. It's disgraceful to be honest, I just opened another ticket, though that was 3 days ago and I'm still waiting for a reply. Appears that SE are totally out of there depth with this launch, one cock up after another.

Funny thing is , we are paying for this service...

I guess we are paying for the service even tho it's a month "free". I bought mine from amazon and I think I might return it.

Well then. Upon successful registration, the key should have been shown in the web browser with further instructions.
And a copy of it sent by email. Which may have been put in spam folders or other places. Can't rule out ISP filters blocking it though.

Probably won't help anything, just stating what should and could have happened.

They have been off last 3 days. They will happily close it for you tomorrow :)

The game activation code is in the physical box and you have to input that to play the game. the pre order code only worked for so many days ( pre order head start is now over) you have to enter the code that comes in the physical box.

As you just mentioned, A key has been shown and sent to his mail box. He tried to put it straight on to the mogstation website by using the ''add platform'' button but it said that the key was invalid.
So he went on this https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...?rgn=eu&lng=fr link, followed the steps and it worked... then he had 2 days to put the game activation key,
which he never received =/

Identical thing happened to my husband, but it took a day to get the 48 hour email, then it took another 5 days to get the email saying they had closed his ticket cause it wasn't important. Luckily he got a refund for his copy of the game. Now if I could only get a refund for my 1.0 copy...

That game activation key they want within N days is inside your/his physical copy of the game, on one of the two enclosed leaflets.
Make sure he puts it on the correct service account (the one with his characters on it, and that lists the preorder bonus items).
