The "If you cuold get SE to fix ONE thing thread"

Rules are simple. Post ONE thing you would like SE to look at and possibly change. It could be anything. From errors to something that isn't available in the game that you would like to see. I'll start: Error 1017. GO! :D

I'm not wasting a perfectly good wish on server errors that will eventually be fixed... i wish that they would let us put on armour and jewelry that is too high level for us like we could in 1.0... that was my biggest disappointment-change to the new game.

An actual queue. I don't care if I'm 2000th in the queue... if i can just leave the queue running and go do something else for awhile I'd be happy.

People's Second Service Account Issue.

My rights as a human being to get what I paid for.

Redmage or an actual support class.

Inactive players. If you haven't moved in 30 mins it means your not there. They need to kick them the fuck off.

This a thousand times over. Could have been bandaid fixed by simply extending EA for an extra week or so, but instead I think they'd just rather a bunch of us NOT to be able to play, since it helps with server congestion.

Yep. I'd have customer support do more than send a form letter to people who registered the game to a second service account.

They are giving us an extra week, ON OUR DUMBASS SECOND ACCOUNTS THOUGH -__-, so whats this mean were gna have to wait even a week to get them switched back over?

Definitely a QUEUE!!. I deal the with server issues overall because lets face it the game received for more interest than initially anticipated. BUT I am tired of playing the "click and pray" game to get onto my server. I don't care if it takes an hour. I can play other games till then. But seeing an endless "1017" error is by far the most irritating and infuriating thing going on with this game right now.

I have no clue. I've been unable to play since the 29th, with absolutely no possible way to get in contact with their customer service the entire time. It's disgusting, really.

The resolution to the server issues is simple.

BOOT EVERY CHARACTER THAT'S BEEN IDLE FOR 30 MINUTES OR LONGER.

Done.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

I'm completely shocked this is not part of their server management protocols. It resolves myriad problems and is an expectation MMO veterans have for this genre.

The way it is now, you're requiring players to never log out because it's often impossible to log in. Half the players probably aren't actively playing at this very second anyway. I leave my game logged in overnight when I'm sleeping or when I'm off running errands or whatnot so I don't have to bang my head against a wall for the five hours after I get back to my keyboard.

Booting the inactives makes all the room in the world for the players trying to log in. This is especially helpful on the Japanese servers which now are flooded with English speakers (like me) who couldn't get into the US/EU servers due to really craptastic server management by SE.

Fix the lack of anti-afk systems. Get them in place and kick afkers out.

On a positive note. I would like to see the jewelry that we ware... surely they can make earings and rings visable on toons, even necklaces would be nice.

I think you can see the necklace on my inactive cat-girl.

The terrible tab target cycling and the horrible click targeting detection.

You sir, need to be hung by your toes and slapped around with a wet towel for a good few hours. You are aiding in the issue of afk and idling players yet make a post about it on a forum made for stopping it? For shame sir, for shame.

Sadly, I don't know for sure. Due to having 2 service accounts, with my main character being "inactive," I can no longer access the Lodestone to check it out.

If Im paying my money Raven177, i should be able to sit down in game for 24/7 if i wanted to....:p

Making it easy to accidentally create a second service account, thereby forcing you to go through the WORST CS IN THE INDUSTRY to get it fixed before you can even log in at all.

My account so I can have my Preorder items and CE items on the same damn service account

Client issues fixes, like poor performance in high-end rigs and client crashes.

I guess I could go with the 1017.

But then again... seeing the same person in the same perch on a bridge in Middle La Noscea for the entirety of the SIX HOURS I played yesterday? I'd have to go with the AFK timer.

Does anyone else have issues with targeting? I press tab to target the enemy literally right in front of me and it selects one 50 yalms behind me...

I have a lot of feedback but this one is driving me crazy. Not going to waste my one thing on 1017 when its hopefully days from fixing.

Targeting system as a whole is just awful. Who at SE, sat back, saw this in action and gave it a thumbs up to move forward?
