I've been a fan of this company since I was a child. A kid. I was playing RPG's at a very young age and Square Enix (Or Square...) are the reason why.
I know all games, no matter how big or small, will suffer some form of technical difficulties at some stage, but I'm sick and tired of seeing "We apologize for any inconvenience caused, thank you for your patience".
I'm sick of seeing that. Sick of it. I have paid so much money over the years for SE games, SO much, and I feel as a customer, I should get more for my money. I hope for their sake, they will give the players, the customers, something pretty damn amazing for all this trouble.

I would have so much more respect for a company if they would stand up tall and say "We fucked up, but we promise you we will sort it" and that be it! If it means they are going to turn the servers off completely for a day or two, then do it! Just fix it!
There will need to be some form of compensation to the customers. Their customer service skills aren't were they should be either. Too many negatives, not enough positives. -

Yes I know before anyone starts that there is maintenance to fix this logging problem and server traffic, but do you know what... I've heard the excuses, the sorrys and the lies all too often over the last few years of this company.
I bet you post wednesday there are still the same old problems that have affected this game right back to version 1.0
I keep asking myself the question, why am I torturing myself trying to get on this game? just play another or do something else.
It is a human thing I guess, we always want what we can't have.
The thing is tho.... I don't know how much longer I can take this punishment and i'm afraid to say if I move on I move on for good. -

Actually I don't think 1.0 had this bad of a time.
I just think everything inside the game itself, ruined 1.0 but yeah I'm getting pretty pissed once more.
Once I am in the game I'm fine then the times I have to get off, I just know I won't be on for a looong time
while playing Beat the 1017 boss is my 2nd job... -

09-02-2013, 05:10 AMMoominReally, not that I'm trying to defend SE (I've given up on their horrible support too), but just wanted to say- I'm almost positive SE has divided their divisions up across the regions resulting in MUCH better service in JP rather than NA/EU. As an extension, NA players have received horrible and absolutely unacceptable support / communication, which has resulted in a bad image of the company. I would say, the NA division manager should get a serious reprimand. Honestly, the EU players had almost ALL their problems solved over the weekend whereas NA wasn't even available to take questions even though their hours were posted on the support service...Quote:
