No valid service account available to play FF XIV
Hi,
On the release day I received my FF XIV and I played it for 2 days untill lvl 12
Yesterday I started the game and I came in a different starting menu;
The one that says Welcome to FF XIV:
The following steps are required in order to begin playing FF XIV...
- Set up Square enix account (which I have)
- Link your PSN (check)
- Comfirm purchase info (check)
NEXT
So I press next which brings me to a menu where I can press the button I currently posses a Square enix account
I login with my ID and Square enix password which brings me to the following screen;
No valid service account available to play FF XIV.
In order to play FF XIV, you must first purchase the digital download from the ps Store or register a product code.
* please restart the client for FF XIV.
I don't know what to do..
I waited a day because I thought maybe this is a common error and it will be fixed bu as today still nothing.
So i tried loging in at http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/ to see if I could get more info and a screen poped up with:
Use of the Lodestone requires a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account with at least one character.
Please log-in again after you have created a character in-game.
Please could anyone help me?
Fix for digital preorders with this problem
1. Search your email for a message from: webhelp.v4@digitalriver.com
2. Click the link that is your order number. Says "Order Number: XXXXXXXXX".
3. On the page that opens, put in your order number, and last 5 of credit card.
4. It will find your order, and there will be a 20 digit XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX number labed "Serial Number".
5. Enter that number in the game client, or add it to the services in your square-enix account page.
6. Good to go.
The problem is that everyone used Early access serial numbers, they expired on the 27th. You need to register your permanent serial number now.
