ME. wtf is going on. My mog station says I have no active account. I can't go buy a new fucking code either because digital sales are down?!

Are you sure you entered it correctly to the Mog Station to apply to your account and not create a whole brand new account? Remember that your Early Access code wasn't your registration code, just in case you thought that.
Overall if you guys are having issues with your accounts, then I highly recommend you contact the customer support via telephone/email or webchat as soon as possible.
The entered code has already been registered. I do not remember making another account. I put the codes in on my ONE account when told to.

What code was it then? Because it wants another 20 alphanumeric code, which I never knew of. Infact, im a fucking 1.0 player! I snagged myself an early access code, stuck it on my account, and SHOULD be good to go.
But now it wants a new code? From where? WHY?
With the early access code people were given (3) free days, which just ended. You need to register your retail code (given after registering your early access code). I recommend checking your email, because if you registered your early access code you would have received an email with your game key. When you register your game key the mog station will show (30) day free instead of (3).
There's a separate code to activate your account. Depending on where you preordered from its delivery method is different. My amazon order had my product code (not early access... they are two different codes) in my game vault. I had to click the game and hit a button that said product code. Pre-order s from SE got emails with their new product code. They are going to a lot of peoples spam folders so c heck there. Idk about other stores though. Most people are trying to enter their same pre order early access code in the mog station and that's the problem. Its a totally new code retAilers sent out on release day.
the only 20-digit code i've got is the early access code. I was just in the game, got booted, and now it's asking me for another 20-digit code...so confused...

ok, GET THIS. So, if you're a 1.0 player, it's gonna QQ at you for a new code. Lucky for me I bought the game for a friend who refuses to play till he can make a char on leviathan (super good guy waiting like that), and because of that my amazon account had the game code in there. A new 20 digit code for me.
So I popped that in, and im back on the game.
For everyone else that's 1.0 and booted off.. digital sales are stopped, so you have to wait to buy the game again to get in. :/
I know that one of my guild members, had an issue where he never received their cdkey (to upgrade from Early Access to Standard/Collectors), so I made them contact customer support to get this resolved, which did within 20 minutes of him opening a webchat.
I really hope people will sit down and think about this situation and read through their read. I can understand that people these days are all about getting things done quickly and no patience for anything, but remember that most of the problems that happen are player responsibility issues because they don't pay enough attention.

You do realize it's the weekend, right? There's no customer service from SE until monday. No one wants to lose yet ANOTHER weekend, but this time due to an account management screw up. That'll down right make people say fuck it, lol.
To top it all off, they can't even get a new copy on the spot to fix the issue, because sales are halted, lmao. Talk about rubbing salt in an open wound.
If you are 1.0 weren't you supposed to just get the game like ys legacy folk?
I've tried to log in and it won't let me use my characters and I have to use the "second" one on the list which doesn't have my character, wtf?
This issue might be due to an error that Square has halted on registering your account from games that were bought digitally. That might have affected people who have bought the game whether they bought it digital or physical copy, which might be conflicting with it or something. So maybe it's a bug when people get this the system isn't letting you because of the restrictions on registering that are stopped temporarily for now. I could be wrong though.
I was playing here recently and glitched underground.. I figured I'd try to log off and try to log back on. It said I had some random error, and then I try to register my code for PS3 and it does not work D: ..
if you bought the digital version, you would have gotten an e-mail with a code that looks like this "xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx"
my brother had the same issue, we found the code in our e-mail, entered it in and it let him back on
Basically what it's telling you is that you either need to register a new game code, or set up a payment option. I'm a 1.0 player as well (non-legacy, didn't play after the extended free period ended until 2.0), and when I went into the Mog Station it showed the game registered to my account. All I had to do was set up payment options and I was set. Things are working fine for me.
A friend of mine also had issues with being able to activate their account though, because for some reason it wasn't showing the game on their service account (despite being sure it was the right account, and the CD key of the 1.0 box stating it was already used).
If you need to buy the game you could still use digital resellers like g2play (reliable site, used it frequently), who resell game codes off physical boxes. They still have the game in stock according to their site, so if you need a game key they have it available (and delivery is within minutes of ordering)

Does anyone else have a 1 and 2 tab on their mog station, I don't understand how I can have two accounts under one account all i did was register my code.
But it's not an account management screw up. It's a player screw up for rushing and not really looking at what they are doing. 99.9% of account related issue are player related due to impatience (That number is of course pulled out of the thin air of the Interwebs), but the vast majority of us are playing fine and not having a single problem. This is because we received our cdkeys for Standard or Collectors and we took our time to review the Mog Station and find the correct links to upgrade and not create a brand new account or to the degree of some players who though the Early Access code was all they needed.
Many issues can be fixed by simply ... taking the time to think :)
Look in your e-mail for an e-mail from 'webhelp.v4@digitalriver.com' that subjects Square-Enix, Inc. - Product Now Available (Order #XXXXXXXXXXX)
There you will find your registration code.

Yeah.. but im talking about 1.0 players? People promised to own the game already without needing to mess with anything? Like myself? Who had to then take a key ment for a friend (once character creation opened on levi) and use that instead. Gonna have to buy em another copy now. :/
My account management page even says I own FF14, but the mog station said account status none.

I took my time, their system is just not easy to use, it's an absolute joke. Am I meant to start all over again now because I have two separate accounts and my pre order bonuses are on one and my purchased copy is on another? What other mmo handles their account management like this, it's bonkers.
I understand about how some could screw up and be in a hurry. I tried numerous times to order the digital download yet digitalriver was having issues and unable to process orders so I ended up just preordering through Amazon. Now I find that I am having to wait another week before the game is anticipated to be delivered. This was a flaw in the design overall if you think about it. People who preordered shouldn't have been penalized due to purchasing a disc instead of downloading a digital copy imho.

Tried to login, forced to enter 20 digit code, says code has been used. Can access SE account, my character is there. Although it says my account is inactive.
I've done nothing other than use the code after getting it from pre-order through SE's own online store.
It appears it's happened to a lot of people.
Can they fuck things up even more than they already have? It's just a litany of cock ups.
