Americans unable to get ahrimin mount?

So I tried buying 90 days, and instead of buying 90 days and getting my ahrimin mount, It just goes to making it coninuous and I get no veteren rewards? I jut saw a guy in horizon with the mount, why isn't it letting me get it? I was told americans cant get it?

May be down to the way he paid. If he entered a gamecard number the payment will have gone through there and then. if you've paid by credit card then the first payment will go through on the 10th. I imagine you'll get the reward when payment is taken otherwise you could change it.

The way I read it, the rewards are cumulative. The duration of your paid service will determine your rewards so you will get the different tiers of bonus items month by month.

But that doesn't explain why I saw a player with one already, Yet I cannot get one, nor friends of mine who have also tried.

Hey so do you have to pay it all in one payment or they just ask you how long you plan on playing and they will charge you accordingly per month?

It was giving me options for 30 60 90 or 180 an I selected 90, went to process payment and it accepted it, and when I chected my status it said I had no vet rewards and my payment type was continuous? I don't understand how that guy had the ahrimin.

They used a timecard, and added it instantly. Credit card subscription comes out after your 30~ days of playing are up.

Are there specific places to buy that timecard? Like a CVS pharmacy? I haven't seen one anywhere... but then again I haven't really lookd too hard.

During the Free Trial period, users won't be able to submit payments via credit card or Square Enix Crysta. Even if you set up a subscription, no payment will be processed until after the Free Trial period ends.

When that period is over, you will then be charged for the length of time you've set up and will receive the corresponding Veteran Rewards via the in-game Moogle Delivery Service.

The reason some users already have these items is due to placing time on their accounts through the redemption of game time cards. I haven't seen any, but it's possible that there are Japaense timecards available and that's how it was done (thus giving credence to the "Americans can't get it yet" statement you heard). If that's not the case, and it might not be (only the person with the mount, or someone who used a time card or has the mount, could really give confirmation), then I wouldn't know -- but see if you were charged? I'd presume you'd get the items when charged for the time (as, otherwise, you could get the items and cancel before being charged). And some here are saying they won't charge you until the free 30 days are up, which might be the issue if they are accurate.

Are there any plans going on to change that policy for North American players? Since this will give an advantage to other players to receive their veteran players rewards in a different way members from another region will receive them.

Do you mean the 3 day trial period or the 30 day trial period?
EDIT: Can you please explain or link a resource that explains very CLEARLY the method to redeem a game time card or use the Ultimate Game Card? How EXACTLY can we get veteran rewards today like the people who already have?

I'd have to go look at the list again but I'm pretty sure all of the veteran rewards are pets/mounts/cosmetic items... so how exactly are they getting an advantage?

Trial period would obviously depend on whether you have legacy access or if you bought the game and have the full 30 days. As to how to redeem it... seriously? Go to mogstation after purchasing 60, 90, 180 or whatever days worth of game time cards and apply the codes to your account, it's not complex or difficult at all. Once you have sufficient amount of time credited you'll get the rewards.

So where does it show the cost the for 90 or 180 days? I see the option on the moogle station to select those subs but no price next to them.

My bad, click on the square enix account button, then "about crysta" in the left hand menu, inside it will tell you about using ultimate cards to purchase crysta and provide you a link to the service where you redeem them. I thought they had added the ability to direct add it in the SE account page, I've never used it as I've always used a credit card. I was wrong in this case, but I'd like to point out it took me a whopping 1 minute to figure out how to add it all on my own.

Also I must apologize, I misread your question and overlooked the "today" in it. Camate answered your question about being able to add time today but it requires you to actually look at what he said and apply a little bit of good ole logic. Note that he said crysta and credit cards would not be billed till the free period had ended. He also stated that adding time through cards for North America is accomplished through using those cards to purchase crysta. That means you don't apply the cards directly to your account so no instant credit, that makes it apparent that in other regions you can add the time directly to your account.
So in North America, since you can't bill your card or crysta today and you can't directly add time... YOU CAN'T HAVE YOUR VETERAN REWARDS TODAY.

It's annoying; yes, but really it just means you have to wait a month to get some cosmetic extra's because they aren't on sale here yet.

Having to wait to pay doesn't really mean they have an advantage it just means they get their cosmetic crap a month before us, they won't level any faster, get bonuses in dungeons or get super powerful items in their mailboxes as a result of this. Is it fair that they get them first? No, no it isn't... but it's also pretty minor as far as issues with this game goes right now. SE has historically had all kinds of issues with NA payments and I'm not surprised they're playing it safe on taking people's money early.

It's because you have not paid yet. You will pay when the charge the first set of fees after your free time expires. Your free time will expire in either 14 days if you are a 1.0 account holder, or 30 days if you purchased ARR to play.

The reason he has them now is that he paid in time cards from a retail store, because he paid already, he recieved his rewards already.

Well, it's an advantage for people to get any sort of benefit even if it's cosmetic before another one. You're having a benefit before the other. But, if it's language problem here, they're not giving items that give an advantage to others.

Does this explain why registration codes are invalid for Digital Download CE? I can't even set up a sub much less redeem my in game items. Support center isn't very helpful today as every time i got to be the next person helped on chat support they cancelled it and i had to start all over :( Any answers on the invalid code would be lovely :)

Seems clear there is not yet a plan in place for the NA data center based off that one line.

The later line that you bolded, which says "Facilities" and the fact that it was posted in English, by NOC_NA DOES lead to some hope that there is a solution for the NA center coming.

However, if so, why wouldn't it just say "Regarding Congestion in Data Centers".

A specific answer saying "We have no plans to increase capacity at the NA center." or "We are making plans but are not yet ready to release them." would be helpful.

But honestly idc, i can easily go to a JP server. Same thing imo.

My account is created in NA. then i noticed that the game time card that i had purchased at a local store is an EU card would it work? I'm getting an error when I tried it?

If i set up for 90 days sub with my visa card will i get the vet veterans? sorry have dyslexia så dont understand so easy. also could some give me a link where i can
see that veteran stuff :)

If you're PS3 make sure that you're entering your 12 digit code in caps, not in lower case. Even though it shows up in caps when typed in lower case, it doesnt auto fix it. Once I entered my code with caps on or holding shift, it worked.


and you can check your SE account to find out when youll be charged, and when. So here, my 30 free days ends on 9/28, and ill be billed on 9/29, and thats when ill get my rewards. My payment info was set up on mogstation.

I currently have 43 days of free game time remaining, and I bought a 60-day time card in store yesterday. Now, if I apply that code to the account, it will add to the existing 43 days I have, right?

Yeah it should do, when i added my 30 days from my ps3 copy onto the 14 days i already got from the welcome back campaign it put my days from 14 up to 44.
