[PS3]Updating from Beta account to Retail

Hey guys, I'm incredibly sorry to trouble everyone especially considering how busy everybody is but...

I'm trying to update my beta account to retail yet on the Mog Station, I have no idea where this option is?

When I try to logon (I understand I need to be registered) via the ps3 I get told to go to "http://sqex.to/msp" which is a site that just doesn't even exist. I believe I have thoroughly checked through the Mog Station and have searched around looking for an answer.

I'm curious about this too. I redeemed the code included in my copy's manual through the PS Store, but that was just a product voucher to download the game - and since I was beta, I don't think I needed that. I'm not sure if I need to "Add PS3 Service" through Mog Station, or what we need to do to register our games. :P Confusing.

Here is what I did. I put in the code that came with the game into redem codes from account management, downloaded and installed everything even though I already had it. Once that was done I went over to start the game and it had me select what service account I wanted to add. After that I was able to download some files and whatnot. From there I checked mogstation and it was updated to retail version and said I had 33 days of free time. Hopefully this helped.

So my question has regards to the PS3. I have a character from Final Fantasy 14 1.0 and have kept my square enix account and when the Beta4 came through registered it for my PS3. Now, my father who likes this game as well wanted to create his own character. He created a new playstation network account, and square enix account, all on my PS3. We only purchased 1 copy of the platform for PS3 and was able to get the early access and I registered the early access promo code for his PSN and Square Enix account (didnt add it to mine).

Now today i picked up the 1 copy of the platform will the promotion code inside, can i register it to my PSN and square enix account along with my fathers? or will i need to buy another copy just for the purpose of the promotion code?

And we are going to buy another PS3 in the near future, will the disc we purchase work and run the client for the new PS3 as long as we log in with either his or mine PSN account?

Thanks, SP! This worked for me. I logged in using the game client I still had from Beta3/Beta4/Early Access, and once I logged in it had me do User Agreement/Add Option to Service Account/etc. I just checked Mog Station, and I am now updated to 33 days on my account. :)

This here is the solution to this problem. Thank you very much, I am a HappyPanda now :o.

When you say the code that came with the game, do you mean the pre-order bonus code? Because the one that's inside my game box is much longer than 12 characters. As far as I know, I haven't got another code :/

Look on the back side of the users manual. Should be a 12 digit code.

OH. That'll teach me. Thank you!

When I enter my 12 digit code under Account Mangement > Redeem Codes its telling me the code is wrong or has already been used. Anyone else having this problem?

I had that issue as well, it turned out I was typing it out wrong. What I thought was an 8 turned out to be a B, the font is kinda weird.

You need to make sure that the letters are all CAPS as well.

Thank you for the idea about a letter not being what it seems >.< There was what I didn't know if was a zero or O....it was a friggin D. Thanks! lol

I think they fixed this issue. I entered mine last night and it worked. Check this post out.
