Legion Noir: First to 50

Title says it all.

First lvl 50 was myself at 2:40am PST. Merry Weatherbee was at 2:47am PST on Adamantoise server. The screenshots show a bit late. However we have video evidence encase there are any doubters.

I agree with strikes. I am sure other fc have their hardcore people as well...I woul dof been up there at 50 as well but alas paying rent from working vs gaming. However im lucky my job is week on week off. So hardcore week here I come. Eta 10 hours lol

I'm only putting the word "First" in quotes because in Gaming that's actually a thing now. (As in a Noun: Check syntax)

... and the 'First' I had in apostrophes were merely as an implication. (from the screen shots) No need get grammatical with me.

If you translate putting quotes around something to mean that it implies it doesn't mean something, or is false; well then that's how you translate it. Quotes aren't defined as 'implying lies'. (a quotation giving the estimated cost for a particular job or service.) No need to be defensive.

If I was implying it was a false claim; I would have just stated so and not offered up a congratulations. There's the obvious screen shots and my congratulations. So please; don't sour the good cheer.

Does anyone remember world first level 70 in WoW? Nope! But people remember who killed the end Bosses in instances first. Being the first to level cap means nothing. Grats you poop socked. I'd rather enjoy the story because there is no reason to rush to end game as this is not WoW. The end game will be fun but not worth missing out on the entire point of playing Final Fantasy which is the story.

Can we see the video evidence please. It is vitally important.

Sooooo basically you guys were the first in line at the cafeteria and got your food before everyone else who will eventually get their food also. That's quite an accomplishment and a major show of skill and talent! Glad you took pics and a video because this will nobody would ever believe you!

I see there are some sour apples posting here. I'd like to remind some of you that this is a game, and that because you did not reach 50 first does not mean you are less of a person.

Lionel and I decided to make an event of it over the weekend and had a blast in the process. We thought we'd share here on the forums. To each their own right?

Here is Lionel's achievement on the Lodestone. Here is Merry's achievement.

I'm certainly not one to sour these kinds of achievements; but you have to admit that it's pretty watered down with not as much meaning as it would have had in other games; when about 65% of the server population can't log on.

So many people that were 'in the hunt' got screwed over because of game bugs, crashing and errors. Had this been a fluid game launch... I think you both would have been given more of a run for your money. Also, please, I don't mean for me to be talking about anyone from VA... we're not that kind of community (spare a few hardcore fellas), we're very easy going and friendly and not the e-peen/ego types. We were watching (as best as we could) the runs for 50 and it pretty much wasn't that exciting to watch because of all the errors. We usually take side-bets on who we think will get there first... but this time around we couldn't really do that; as we felt the horrid launch interfered too much. :(

I think the fact that they were largely unburdened by the errors that befell the rest of us at every turn can only mean one thing.
