I've seen 3, maybe 4 posters that sounds like normal, reasonable people. The rest are either: 1. People acting like server issues and errors are the end of their lives and if they don't get to play this goddamn second, they're going to murder Yoshida's entire family... or 2. People who respond with "QQ MORE".
Can't you guys be a normal community? Look at the Japanese forums. Their technical support and bug subforums have threads about bugs. You know what you find in our support and bug subforums: "This is unacceptable, I'm getting a refund!" That's not a bug. That's not a technical problem. That's you thinking anybody cares how you spend your money or you're simply trolling. If you have a bug, post it, but even better first use the search feature to see if anyone else has posted it. We don't need 90,000 threads about error 90000.
How to be a normal, healthy community:
1. If you have an error, go to the bug reports, search to make sure it hasn't already been reported, then report it if not.

2. If you are angry enough to want a refund, then try to get a refund. We don't need to hear about it. We don't care. If you're trying to get SE's attention, it's not working. They are too busy working on their gaming and fixing problems to read a thread about someone who has already given up on the game just because they're having a few server issues.
3. If you are merely upset by lack of support or want to discuss game elements, join General Discussion and start a friendly discussion about it. Throwing a fit and stomping your fit (metaphorically) are not going to make people care. It's just going to make people think you obviously have anger issues.
4. If someone makes a stupid post ignore it. By responding at all, you're simply pushing it back to the top of the list where countless more people will keep it there with other responses. Ignore it and within 20 minutes it will be deep into the depths of the forums where no one will ever find it.
Adding onto this: Even if this is a person's first MMO launch it boggles my mind that they wouldn't think, "Well I suppose it makes sense they'd have issues the first month or so considering the sudden massive influx of players." Instead they immediately jump to, "This game is going to fail, I want a refund!" What made me laugh though are the people saying, "Server issues!? This is why 1.0 failed SE!" Obviously those people didn't play 1.0, because otherwise they'd realize it failed for completely different reasons.
Edit, Extra Note: I'm not saying people have to post bugs in the bug reports. I'm saying don't post other shit in that subforum. It's not where it belongs and people are making it hard for the developers to see the actual issues. -

Well, most of the posters whining about server problems here are either:
A) First time MMO players who don't realize that the first week of an MMO launch always has full servers and stability issues and that it's your own fault if you choose a high pop server and can't get in. That's the risk you take joining a high pop server.
B) People who have experienced the above for every single MMO launch in history, but for some reason have selective memory issues and just love to whine. -

If you look at their support pages, there is one single post about each error with people posting in only that thread (as they're supposed to). There are also plenty of people who have been able to play on the NA/EU servers. I've been able to play on an off though I've been affected by the issues as well, including right now.Quote:

O__O However, I've been able to play about 30% of the time during early access and there was always a ton of people on. There's plenty to discuss. In fact, we can discuss our feelings about the errors. If you see my first post you'll notice that I actually encourage people to talk about the errors as long as its in general discussion and they're actually discussing. My issue with the current state of things is that nobody allows real discussion. One person posts congratulating the game's release and every reply is about login issues. Keep that to its own thread which already exists. Besides, the jokes have already been overdone and its only been two days.Quote:

Not half. Considering every server is still full of people, I guarantee its nowhere near half. Whenever I did get on, it was completely full. I simply think if people are discussing errors, they need to keep it in the correct threads. Having so many posts about the same errors is clogging up the forums. There are people trying to have discussion, but all the people who can't stop whining go into those threads and piss on everyone's parade by constantly talking about their errors rather than what the thread is supposed to be about.

They made a twitter account specifically for news about issues being worked on. Yoshida and the dev team have made several posts about the issues and ensured everyone their working on it. I'm sure nothing is going to work perfectly for a while. It's just how things go. No sense getting riled up about it though. Going by japan's standards for employment I'd wager the team hasn't slept much anyway. :P

Every online game have the same problem on the first day.
But none of them drive out their customer to another server and call it a solution.
I don't know how you play MMO game.
Some may never have a friends at all.
And look for make a lot of brand-new friends in this game.
In that case, you can play on any server just fine.
But for some people, They do have a friends, And they want to play together.
That's why character limitation on some server are the problem for them. -
