anyone gotten a phase 3 invite yet?

I dont have an invite yet, but i did get a weird email from SE about FFXIV saying how they apologize about the condition of FFXIV 1.0 and how they want to give me a chance to see what ARR would be like and that I should try it out.

The email also said that I would be allegible for the phase 3 beta and that more info would be sent out to me at a later date.

Not sure how much longer they can wait to send out phase 3 beta invites if the rumours of it starting at like 6 am on friday are true. but I guess we will see

That was a newsletter that I thought everyone got. Beta invites (to those that don't already have them, or PS3 invites) would go out separate from this newsletter email.

Today's newsletter seems like the one I got last May announcing a free trial (to come back and try out 1.XX) and information about Legacy Campaign. Both of which I jumped on and here I am today! :)

If you didn't get your email, just keep an eye open. They usually blast out in waves. There's still a couple more days till start. I doubt anyone will get that far this weekend anyway with 1.0 characters being delayed next beta testing session.

yes NDA has been lifted, though we cannot post images from Alpha, Beta1, Beta2, Videos, Music, or Audio.

Probably another week or two before they open the floodgates. Maybe they want to make sure things are stable before they invite everybody back.

im getting worried because ive gotten ZERO correspondence from them about it.... not even that news letter.

Auto filtered into Junk Mail maybe? If not, ....I'm sorry. If it makes you feel any better, you can ask any question on the beta now... ^^;

Yes. Your registered email with SE Account is the email you will get invite sent to.

arr is gonna be awesome much better graphics the world of crapcraft crafting and gathering is much easier cant wait to try out mining. overall its much better but then again l liked 1.0 especially post 1.18 i think it was

Can't say anything for sure, but considering beta phase 3 states that all holders of XIV service accounts are eligible to play, you may not even get an invite sent to you, and instead it may just be automatically added to your account. Can't confirm it, like I said, but just a guess since it would be a lot of emails for SE to send out just to send codes to everyone with an active or inactive XIV service account attached to their SE Account when they could simply flag all XIV service accounts with beta access.

Oh snap as of June 12?! I was still beating around the bush about the beta forums. Well hell..

Heard a few people got PS3 invites, but no one close to me and they had their FFXIII codes still.

that's the problem though you have to have a code to download it for the ps3

If you've been in the previous beta phases - you don't need an e-mail / invite. Launch the beta launcher, accept t&c's, sign-in, download update.

It just occurred to me; does that also count for PS3 Beta? Can we all participate in that, no problem, without an invite? *tilts head* I mean, did they specify that all former 1.0 account holders would be able to participate in the PC Beta and only the PC Beta, absent of an invite?

I apologize if any head aches are had by my question.

My brother is Legacy and he's just opened the client and had a 5GB update, so I'm guessing they've released the client for phase 3!

I wonder if we will get to experience the Legacy intro when we log into our 1.x characters in phase 3 test 2... Really want to see what happens!

Have those of you with 1.0/XIV service accounts logged into your SE Account to see if Beta is attached as a permanent option?

Iamcardboard, since your brother is in Beta, maybe you could get the forum website from him and see if it lets you make a forum account there?

I think these things are worth a try for you guys to check. ^^

But after I logged in it told me I couldn't access it because my account was cancelled... 5 mins of running in circles screaming in sheer panic, I checked my account which was still active- to my relief- and also didn't have any extra permanent options attached. Mind, this was a few hours ago. Might check again now...

Just tried again, no perma option, but this is interesting- the beta forum link now redirects me from arr-test/forum.php to /notfound.php

Am I using the correct link? http://forum.square-enix.com/arr-test/forum.php

Edit: Just realised, but the link I used first time round (when it told me my account was cancelled) was a direct link for the client download, which first prompted me to log-in. Using that same link gets me the same worrying message about my account being *gulp* cancelled.

Yea, when I log into that I get a "You could not log in because that service account has been cancelled." Message. Whoop!

I really hope that's just the default way of them telling me I don't have permission to view the beta forums.

im going to cry if by some error i dont get my b3 invite.... i took this whole weekend off, and have plans to superglue my buttocks to the couch to prevent me from moving. ive already placed four advance deliveries of dominoes to cover my food supply for the weekend. i am ready to go in on this game hard core tomorrow... but no beta invite is terrifying me.

If you missed your original registration for the beta (aka: got email, email got deleted before registering) is there anything you can do to recover that?

So have any 1.0 account holders, that were not in the phase 1 or 2 of beta gotten invites yet? or info on how to get the beta client?

if you go to the memebers site and click "view all services" FFXIV beta tester is up there, but if you havent gotten an invite nothing will be there.

It is likely you were invited to closed beta and didn't know it.

I too didn't get an email about phase 3 yet, but upon digging around my email, it turned out that I was invited to beta back in February.

I'm not sure if this is the reason, or if it applies to your case or not. It may also be they simply didn't send out emails yet, but if they have, it might be that your account hadn't been flagged because it was previously flagged for a closed beta invite.
