Now I am sure this has been answered several different times...
Will PC and PS3 players be able to play together? My wife and I would like to play together but she is not a PC gamer but I myself am.
Thanks! :D

PS3 and PC will be able to play on the same servers. So no worries. =)
Yup /10char
Yes, but you may need to start over on a new server if you have an existing player.
Ok awesome, I wasn't 100% sure. I thought I read somewhere that they were not going to be able too.
We purchased the game when it first came out and we even reserved 2 collectors editions. Will she be able to use the same account or no? I don't mind buying the PS3 version for her but we've got legacy status and whatnot so it would be a shame if she lost that.
Also by any chance does anyone know where the offical info is on this? Like I said I was not able to find anything but I do remember reading something along time ago.
We both plan on starting on a new server but she wants to play on her exsisting account on the PS3 instead of the PC and keep her legacy status. As long as she'll be able to do that I think we're golden.
Also I do understand we'll have to buy her the PS3 hard copy.
Yep you need to buy a hard copy of the game for each account you to play on the ps3... This is because SE apparently made it so that in order to play on the ps3 you need to register your ps3 key to your account. So if you buy her the ps3 version, you'll never be able to play on it with your account unless you buy yourself you own ps3 version and register that key to your account.
You both will automatically get into the pc beta. In fact that mails are going to start coming out though out this week and next week. Since the beta is on the 25. If you are planning to apply ps3 then yes you should do so. Especially if you have the the ff13 members code, since you'll get priority over those who did not register with that code. Also if you already applied for ps3 beta back in 1.0 and played the pc beta instead, your application for ps3 beta will still be reviewed and you won't need to apply for ps3 beta. If you do apply just make sure that you both like "ps3 and pc" button to assure you do get your pc beta codes although you should get them no matter what. But just as an extra precaution.
This is only half true. Existing players can play with new players (PC or PS3) as long as the new player chooses the same server that the existing player's character can access.
All existing characters (at launch) can access servers A,B,C,D, and E.
All newly created characters can access servers A,B,C,D,E,F, and G.
New players can choose the alternate servers so they can experience a game with no established playerbase or economy, so that they can be on the same table with other new characters.
Starting accounts are allow to enter old worlds with 1.0 players. But 1.0 players with level up chars are not allow to enter the new world made for starting players.
But that up to the limit on the world but i'm sure they always be open worlds that new players can make there char on.
Although you can make a new character on the new character only servers if you wish.
There's one thing you need to understand about the PS3-
The registration code included with the PS3 version needs to be registered to your original PC account in order to play the same account on both platforms. In other words, odds are you'd need 2 copies of the PS3 version in order to play 2 different accounts on both platforms. They do this to insure you actually own a copy of the software for the platform you're playing on to combat piracy (which in this case, it sort of works because its account based not disc or software based)
They haven't mentioned anything since they were first talking about the ps3 version, so it may be that this is changing (though i doubt it) but this is how it was originally planned. This is something a rep should probably clear the air on.
