I would like to respond by saying that I strongly want to see more options added to the character creator if the opportunity to add them arises to the development team.Quote:

If we can increase the amount of parts it allows to expand the character creation, so if can we want to add as much as we can.
However, by increasing the amount of parts the characters information (data) packet increases and that could cause a major effect to network traffic. Japans enviroment is pretty good when looking from world, but FFXIV ARR is serviced throughout the world so in regards to character parts, we have to carefully check other regions infrastructure.
...although we have that reason, it doesn't mean we're not taking in any ideas regarding parts so if you have ideas/comments on "I want this type of parts!" please continue to leave feedbacks. Thanks
I will leave what I would specifically want out of this post, as I do not think it is important to express here. But, as other posters have mentioned, the FFXIV character creator feels very restrictive in the options it provides to players for customizing their characters.
Therefore I would like to ask that the community organizers please pass on that I (and any who support this thread) would strongly support the addition of more customization options to the game in response to Tirairy's post.

Serious question, I wasnt aware we had an internet problem lol. Are people still running on dialup? Isnt the recommended settings cable?
I thought it was because the ps3 is usually connected wirelessly.. -

What I would like to see is a more effective mechanic to adjust a character's face. For example, if a character's nose looks a little too wide we can pull up a bar to toggle it's width or even the height of the nose and cheek bones. Creating a character is like painting, you want to hold the brush and make a work of art that's personal to you, but in 1.0 it was more like copy & pasting.
My opinion might cause problems with the data packets mentioned in the OP or something though, so I understand that some things just aren't realistic. -

And I was the same way on Skyrim, but to be honest the women on that game looked busted no matter how much you edited them. xDQuote:

I like really good character creator's but when they get TOO crazy it drives me nuts.
I think Dragon's Dogma strikes a good middle ground, loads of options but it doesn't get too crazy with proportions and stuff. -
