Um gettin giddy.
I miss Ksenia. An old friend, I haven't seen in a while.
She will hop out of bed, in the Inn to a whole new world soon! Soon we will have new adventures and new things to craft!

I've been giddy since the end of an era trailer and alpha. afiajhl;kgfahwjegkl;ahw;lkghw
I don't know if I would say I'm giddy... I am a bit Hiir-sick.
Yeah I can't wait to play again but it's also very nice to have more free time for RL!!!!!!!!
Gyooo! *crunch-crunch* ^_^
I don't mean to be a negative nancy, but how can you be giddy about a game that wont launch for another 5 months? (ETA based on mid feb + 7 (phases/debug phases) x 2 weeks (per phase on avg)
I mean...you wont be able to see your 1.0 character nor play outside of the shroud/gridania til phase 3 - which probably wont start til april anyway.
I usually get giddy over an imminent event, not some distant future event. So, no, I'm not really giddy.
I am sooo excited can't wait to play my paladin again. And smn. I'm way to self hyped!!
Same. Extremely hyped here.
i've been missing my char and the friends i gamed with big time honestly. i'm just ready to see the login screen so i can sign him in even though it'll only be a limited beta.
Giddy is too strong a word for my liking. I'm patiently waiting for the release, but defiantly not giddy. Though I might be giddy about PSO2 coming out soon. but even then I still this giddy is way too uppity for how I actually feel.
Not sure I would use the word giddy. I'm more of both cautious and excited at the same time. So Caucited!
after watching Sword Art Online i miss Mikoto T.T i wanna see her in dungeon with her teamates and get some funny adventure.
soooo...hyyyypppeedddd!!!! This lalafell just cant WAIT!
I would play the JP version but my knowledge of their character set is next no non existent. I kinda like knowing what I'm doing. Dammit, wheres the magic fruit that will let me understand Japanese to the fullest without having to indulge in the language. It's not that I don't want to learn it more of the fact that their character set is WHOA compared to our measly 26 characters. To me Japanese looks like written art then words, but I'm still wanting to learn this artistic language, so named by me. :)
Yes! Gimme!!! :O
I used to be pretty patient about the release... then they brought FFXIV:ARR 24 man content-Solo edition just to make us want the real deal even more. :\
I'm actually playing it with the non-official english patch available on the web. Each maintenance, there is a little tweaking to be done but its fairly easy. Of course, some things are still in japanese but the community provides the translations for items, skills, etc... So, it is very playable. I might actually miss the JP voice-acting when the US/EU english version comes out.
wow didn't know that, though they might keep the JPN voice acting in, or I would hope it to be in there. I do have to say from my experience playing games with both ENG JPN audio, the JPN audio always covers more of the game. From what I've heard ENG VA are payed per line, meaning if the line is just a single word or a slew of 15 words they get payed the same for both. THis difference is very noticeable iin the current game, I'm playing: Mugen Souls. Created characters have NO VA at all, special ship battles have not VA either. Switch to JPN and presto, these instances are no long just pictures and text boxes. Even If I can't completely understand what they are saying (battle quotes mostly in this instance since there is no text translations). I still have a relatively fair Idea of what they are saying. 15% of the time, except when they speak a mile a minute. Can JPN actually catch everything they just said? I'm SO glad that FFXIV with have VA and we can choose any language to use, and change I think they said, at any time.
OH, im giddy.
I've been giddy since we found out Legacy = InstaBeta :D
I'm pretty stoked about ARR, everything's looking great to me so far. At the same time I don't mind how long it's taking to come out. I've been able to catch up on other games I ignored due to playing 1.0 and I'm having a great time with them.
Nope. ♪ Passing my time with other stuff.
Besides, I have no sentimentality towards my character and would happily delete him if it wasn't for the levels and Gil he's accrued. Could go for a name/race change for sure.
Nope. Last time I got giddy about a FF MMO was when XI's ToAU expansion came out (new land, favorite job (Corsair)) and WoTG expansion (the fact I like a storyline and XI's lore made me crave this expansion pack.)
I'm very excited about trying out all of my subligars, coliseum gear, stripper mask & stripper boots in ARR (a.k.a. town gear), and making gear sets so I can switch into those with ease! Giddy about prancing through the forest in them!
Beta can't come soon enough! So bored being without a MMO I started playing TERA >.>; (don't judge! I'm a cute loli girl there :p)
Excited, yes!
Mixed with a little apprehension since the expectation level is very high.
I've also been playing PSO2 with my LS, but it's more to stay in touch while passing the down time.
I'm eagerly awaiting the day we can spend time in Eorzea again. I miss it a lot.
And hope it will live up to expectations.
My OCD bookmarks at the top of my screen answer that for me:
"FFXIV EU Main Site, FFXIV Forums, FFXIV Developers Blog, All Games Beta"
I kinda keep twitching and checking them once or twice a day just to see if anything new has been posted about the upcoming BETA.
But, yes SUPER stoked for FFXIV:ARR.
"Giddy"?
The game is, like, months away. So, not really. lol Ask me again about a week before launch.
I'm visiting a therapist because of how giddy I am.
How exactly would someone interested in playing the JP version with the unofficial english patch go about acquiring these things?
Edit: nevermind, I found a guide.
I have a hard time not thinking about it. I look forward so much to stepping out of Limsa, the sun high, making sure my brand new lures are ready. I'll polish my luminary rod the night before to a brilliant sheen, its gold matching the brightness of the grassy hills of La Noscea. My fishing leathers will be oiled, my boots newly laced. I'll set off in search of new fishing spots, new fish to catch, and new friends to make on the hills.
I'll flip every table on earth if fishing isn't in beta 1. Just... all the tables.
*backs away slowly*
