I'm really happy!

Lol for the 1st time in a while, I am really really excited for a new FF game! So much that I keep checking the Lodestone and forums every single day :)

I didnt think 13 was THAT bad or boring or w.e like other people say, but I was really upset about 13-2, and wished I didnt feel this way, but 13-2 was horrible! I never even got past halfway through the game because it was that bad. I was reading up on the FFX remaster in HD they said they are coming out with, and of course the FF7 remake everyone wants but doubt we'll ever get and it was sad seeing how people were turning on the series. But I definitely feel a lot of hope for this game and a lot of faith in Yoshida and the whole team ^^ I feel for the first time you can actually make a game fun AND have good graphics.

That being said I know the game isn't out yet of course, and I cant say if its fun yet, but based on what they did with the last few patches from 1.0 I can say, those were pretty fun and I am sure 2.0 is gonna be awesoooome! :cool:

i hated 13-2, so short and filled with stupid invisible items as content and that is all. then they had the audacity to add dlc's to it even though it was like a 20hour game that cost the same as ff13 even though they already had the build and engine for it. screw them, if i couldn't rent square enix games from gamefly i would totally give them up totally.

as for ffxiv we will see soon enough if it's the turd i think it might be or if it becomes awesome like i truely want it to be. but it will be a toss of a coin on that. but dang i too can't wait for it's release, heck i can't wait for versus to release so i can punch threw it while waiting for ffxiv. even if i will come to this forum and say how much it sucks ass again><

I actually spend around 90 hours clearing that game. And by clearing, i mean getting all 160 Fragments. Yes, it's possible to finish the story in about 20 hours, but then you will miss the extra's the game has to offer. For instance, alternate endings and a secret one at the end. But most importantly the tough special monsters which can be found throughout the game. Getting those done was quite the challenge...

I'm excited too ^^ I can't wait for the game to come. I'll be able to see my friends and linkshells again.

13 was awesome as it was, but 13-2... I didn't even play to chapter 5 before putting the game away on my shelf.
Very excited for ARR however

I myself never bothered to finish 13. I think I was at the second to last chapter but felt too much like a chore to continue, so never even bothered with 13-2. That being said Yoshi-P has me really excited for 14.

The final cutscene from the grand companies mission which featured the final boss fight with Darnus was the first time since finishing FF 10 I felt I had completed a true Final Fantasy epic adventure. Not saying I didn't enjoy the other FF's since then, just not on the same level as 10 and all the PS one era FF's. And that was just with a patch using only a skeleton crew, can't wait to see what else he's got up his sleeve.

You know what? Same here. This kind of feeling hasn't happened in a long time. I know I'll play through all of the content just in time to join the Marines in winter...

I'm even more excited to come back after a few years of active duty and see how amazing this game has become 3 years after relaunch. Here's hoping whatever epic set I get will be good enough for that time.

Xenogears + Chrono Trigger + FFVI + Vagrant Story.

Those 4 games man, those were the times...

FFXIV always gave me the same kind of feeling, since it was first announced, but since Yoshi P took the leadership is looking even more FF than ever. I will miss some of the features Tanaka promised us, but I'm sure if some were discarded, they were with good judgement and reasons by Yoshi and the team.

I'm trusting them and I'm sure ARR will be an awesome experience.

i still believe the merger with Enix was the worst thing that ever happened, i cant somehow shake this feeling that Square Games are getting the crappy end of everything development wise.

Dragon Quest popularity is up FF popularity has plummeted to all time lows and this all happened a year or two after the merger coincidence, i think not.

Dragon Quest stays with its original formula FF tries to mix it up. But really the issue is the choices being made in developement of RPG's is completely out of touch with its fan base. I want a long winded story which touches you emotionally, plot twists, epic battles. A story that allows for exploration and filled with content. Mini-games that engage you in the story. (FF8 Train decoupling) Characters that develope throughout the story. There are so many low budget RPG's showing up that just dont seem to have anything to like about them, all math and no soul.... The Tales of series seems to be the only consistant RPG series i can rely on nowadays. /endrant

I'm looking forward to the new FFXIV ^^ been waiting patiently to give my feedback and ideas.

Unfortunately, that does not apply to the EU. /cry I'm still waiting, hoping that SE will release Xenogears on the European Playstation Network.

Yea, I am dying for a Versus release too! I just started checking up on the little bits of info they released about the game over the past few years, and I am getting more and more excited for it! It def. looks promising..
