The Last March of Hyperion(Stolen from Abriael)

This actually sounds really fun and was wondering if anyone on Hyperion would like to do something similar? Maybe around the time of the event instead though. Try to get there an hour before it starts? Thoughts?

Every player of Hyperion, no matter his nationality, linkshell or affiliation is invited. We tried to find an hour that will be at least reasonably doable for everyone in the three major regions.

Of course players in other servers are absolutely encouraged to do the same event or to put their own spin on it.

If you're on Hyperion and you're able to log in, do come, please. It'll be one of the last chances for us all to walk together and socialize before ARR sends everyone on his way, possibly on different server. Let's see our glorious server off with a bang!

(i suggest taking more time than an hour before the event, it's not a short way, and between stragglers and people coming late, it'll take a bit to get started)

It would be nice if we could have SE sticky these so everyone knows.

I will join but I do like the time maybe a little later but I work on sunday so I can't stay up all night but I will definitely be there! See you soon.

oh and why Gridania? isnt it easier to go Via Uldah and head north through the Thanalan/Mordhana pass? :)

The reasons why we chose Grid are two fold. One, the route's a little more scenic. Two, it's more lore-friendly, since the Alliance normally meets in Gridania.

I saw we gather at the auditorium before the start time and rally the troops. Could have some inspiring speeches :)

Um.... Why at 5pm PST? The event starts at 10pm PST.

Wouldn't starting this at say 8-9 PST (11:00pm-12:00am EST) be a little better? I'm not going to stand around for 4 hours doing nothing and I think the same goes for a lot of people. So if you want a big gathering I'd start it at most an hour or two before the event starts.

I'm not on either server, so I'm unaffiliated with these two marches. But I was coming to post the same question as he did.
All the lore states that the allied forces of the Grand Companies have started their march on Mor Dhona from Thanalan.

But, of course, the lore also states that the adventurer party is there just to stop the auxiliary force from coming from Castrum Novum, so perhaps this extra force decided to march from Gridania.

Aw, I'd go if it wasn't at 5am. Good luck with it though, take lots of screenies!

People gather at 5 PM PST, we will wait an hour or two for everyone to get there, so everyone has a chance to gather and participate. Since it's a march, it's us walking, no chocos, no running, etc. So it will take some time to get there. By the time we arrive, we won't be there but a short while before it starts.

We're going to need somebody leading, for those who don't know the exact way.
