For those of us who have completed his last quest we know what happens to The Great Inspector Hildebrand.

I know many of you agree that he is one of the best characters in the game.

We want MOAR Hildibrand! I hope it's already planned to bring him back but if not...

You never answered my question about what it means to be "trying to sling mud." Are you implying I play with mud? I need you to help me understand. I'm also curious about what a "wise forum warrior" is? Could you answer those questions in detail first so I can have a better understanding of what your thought is behind your posts?

i provided context. reason it out. is that a guarantee you'll reason it out correctly? nope. in fact, based on your limited observable posting history you likely won't. but you're at least provided the tools to begin to via context.

Your post came off like you thought more cut-scenes are pointless, thus it can be concluded you don't enjoy cut-scenes. If you meant something different, perhaps it is better to craft your words appropriately. I was merely poking fun at your statement because Final Fantasy has been full of story/side-story cut-scenes for years now.

However, I see why you can think my knickers are twisted. My response was direct.

That would be sweet. The Hildibrand quests are some of the most enjoyable, yet simplistic quests in the game. I would like them to return, albeit with a little more involvement from the player.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Without getting too much into spoilers, I couldn't help but notice something found in the pumpkin patch looks remarkably similar to something that fell a long distance from from a particular high-up place. I didn't end up putting it together (or at least think I put something together) until after my airship-delivered quest since I went to the pumpkin patch first. Considering the dear Inspector's current location all kinds of theories are swirling around my lala-head.

First thing i'm going to ask him when I see him next will be

Odin in ARR, Hildebrand get shield and sword then gets sent to territory unknown.

Calling it.

If this actually happened I might flip a few tables somewhere.
