Patch 1.23b - Sep 12th

Maintenance Notice for patch 1.23b. This will be the last content patch, yeah?


I wonder what it will bring. Some kind of story to the random imperial invasions we have just got, I hope.

They will make all drop rates 100%

well, for sur we got another foundation event

Foundation day, and the end of the world!

It is Foundation Day! Fireworks and limited emotes for all!

But no mooncake festival :(

so... foundation day = x2 GC seals? :D

and the last battle.

I'm still assuming the final battle will be between the first and the eleventh of november.

I hope the Garlean do a full assault on the three cities, non instanced assault like the current live event, and we ended assaulting some Garlean temporer compound in the city to enjoy the final scene

I really hope they halve the totem requirement for Garuda weps.

Probably not going to happen, but would be nice...

Maybe increase the drop rate a smidgen, for the r/ex items, considering we're still left in the dark on what items are not going to be obtainable in 2.0.

Isn't there going to be 1.23c as well? For Halloween or something.

Can someone please elaborate what happens on Foundation day? Will they just be provisioning quests that give generous amounts of GC seals or any seals earned anywhere will be doubled (caravan escorts) ?

I really hope so lol. If so it's Caravans for days straight.

Last time, I think it was the Patriot's Choker that was given out. You got some complimentary seals from the NPCs and you got 2x the seals for completing GC related activities.

Probably reading into it too much. If I understand it correctly, it's talking about gearing up for that final battle that only the GCs know is under way. No specifics for spoiler reasons but hopefully we get something good with this upcoming patch lol.

Won't the battle have to be available early enough that you can finish it before the 1st so data is saved, or are you referring to the epic final CS that we are supposed to get?

I'm thinking the reason it's open for another 10 days after final save is because the final destruction and cs is then ya, some "live" event that we don't want to miss as yoshi said it.

Oh cool I sure hope he makes a bunch of vague statements and teases us with some concept art of stuff we won't see in the game until 2014.

He better play that gamescom demo for the upteenth time, I haven't seen it enough times yet.
