Seriously, though, how many of you think that 2.0 takes place in an alternate dimension, and the appearance of Atomos foreshadows that plot twist? I know I do! Although I could always be terribly, horribly, embarrassingly wrong....

But that is assuming we are in the current dimension's present since we cannot for certain claim that we have already lived this dimension's past non-interdimensionally as we could possibly already be in this dimension's future unaware that we will be ported into the other dimension's present or possibly even future, which would be the present of the past.Quote:

On a serious note, I can't make myself contort what we know about the 7th Umbral Era resolution into an alternate dimension story. It has never been said outright, but in the ARR trailers, lore, etc, it has always been implied that we would be sent into the future in order to reclaim the world after the devastation. That's not something we can do if we are sent into another dimension. -
