Hello there guys.
Before applying to the FFXIV ARR mak sure ur FFXIV account is active, i sent the app in the morning before i realized my account was cancelled and the support center said i wont be eligible to enter the selection list because of that.
Also there is no other option available for me to fix this, as they said i cant send another application with my accountcurently active and there is aperently nothing i can do anymore...
I just wonder why SE says "You need a FFXIV account in order to be able to apply to the Alpha" error message when u dont own a copy of XIV, but wont say anything if ur account isnt active... It was only cancelled for afew hours but still, i cant do anything about it, so i guess its a no-go for me for the alpha already.

I'm sure they're only going to pick like 10 NA/EU people anyway and all the rest will be JP. So the chances of actually getting in are like the same as winning the lottery and getting stuck by lightning twice all in the same day anyway.

They also said if i re-send it, both my applications will be deleted and removed which is kinda sad tbh... When there is no warning messages for situations such as what happened to me, other ppl will be on the same step as me just because they didnt check if their account was active or not...Quote:

I didnt either. And that is the WARNING i'm talking about. If you try to make an Application without having a XIV account registered in your SE account it will pop up a message saying: "You need a Final Fantasy XIV account linked to your Square Enix account to register in the Alpha test version." -

I don't see what the big deal is on the alpha. I was stated there won't be much to do on the Alpha.
Basically it will be stress areas. they will get people to log on in certain areas. Only parts of Gridania and the new Black Shroud area will be available. If this is like most Alphas there won't be much if any quests, maybe a smidge of story, and some mobs. On top of that the servers will be down most of the time as they schedule the load testing.
I am already expected a bunch of people to leak what they see and whine about the bugs and issues. I am already seeing whining and blaming just on the application, I can't imagine what will happen when the alpha has issues for you. -
