Limit Break Trailer ( First Theme)

I really love the Direction of FFXIV's Music. Yes I only Heard 2 theme's 1) Battle theme? 2) Boss theme? I mean it makes the Original FFXIV Battle themes like pancakes :P. I love the FFXIV Score alot, but this goes above what I expected in a FF battle theme! :D

Thoughts? Things that they could make the music better. ( Always can improve on anything even if its really good, always room to make your work better!) :D.

Yea i thought the music was one of the best parts of the trailer. It was really great.

I always felt the electric guitars and some of the really synth tracks didn't fit the battles in XIV. It may if I was fighting Garleans or something, but lets be honest here, all of us have spent 99% of the time in XIV fighting crabs/squirrels/raptors/beastmen. And they are NOT technological enemies that would have kinda fit the battle themes originally designed.

It was nice music, but I hope they keep masterpieces like this. While I enjoy chain-pulling drakes just so that I can hear it in itys full glory, losing this song would be a terrible waste, IMO.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really likes the music! Hope it's in the game.

I've watched the trailer about 20 times solely on account of the music. If that's the battle theme, I'll be ecstatic!

Sounds like it to me! and I think they wanted to show off the music and the Limit Break system.. I barely heard the Weapon noises, because the Music Overpowered the fighting =).

god that music is the reason why that is one of my fav trailers ever

why I already switched to 1080 on youtube, but look the dragon legs shows crappy resolution? the auther is FINALFANTASYXIV so should be official one

this laptop is ASUS G53SW, i7 sandy and GT460M no reason can't run this...
I saw the version at anniversary event place, wasn't look like this... and other SE trailer like the first bad voice-over ARR one is pretty clear

It depends on how they exported the movie, compression etc. and youtube usually screws up the conversion hence the contrast and the blacks are messed up.

I like how it doesn't have guitar rifts.

A more classical sort of feel so it, I am not very good with music and all their genres, but it felt more epic/fantasy in an older time. Then say http://youtu.be/krWHVGD_dbo

I suppose I don't really have any real right to say otherwise, because I am not a die hard final fantasy fan, I own 5 of them but never beat them.

I come from a more western fantasy background, tho I do really enjoy all of FFIX's music.

And this: Castrum Novum
And this: United We Stand

There are several other guitar-driven tunes from the game that I think are great, too. This prog-rocky stuff has always been part of Final Fantasy.

But, yeah. The trailer music is fantastic.

I liked the trailer music, but I also like most of XIV's current songs. I do agree that the regular battle themes (other than Nail of The Heavens) are some of the weakest, but I really hope they keep many of the current themes and include new ones.

Soken is the best. Where has Square-Enix been hiding him this whole time? I still enjoy a lot of the ye ole Nobuo Tracks, some of them are really masterpieces, and i hope that nobuo has a chance to make a second impression along with Soken and maybe Mizuta.

You bring up fantastic points, I just don't know anymore, I guess the music I linked was just played to much during battle, If I have the option to turn off battle music I think, I wouldn't let those songs get boring.
