Maybe if they added their own soundtracks from all other FF titles but the radio is random and have a moogle be in charge of the Mog Radio.
That seems like an awfully lot of effort to implement a feature that few people will care about.
Or you can call your Mog Radio to follow you around while your doing leves, quests, farming or grinding. :p
in 11 half time people stay in there Mog House, i'd love to go in the inn relax with the radio while taking a break from everyone else, i sure lot of people that like it also, We got some sorta of Tv if you call it right now, the Book of etc,
But there is a lot of FF fans out there like to hear OST in there inn i bet
SE continues to add cutscenes that most people skip and rarely go back to rewatch even though they have a replay journal in their inn, is that stopping SE from continuing to add cutscenes to the game let alone will they decide "No one watches cutscenes and just skips them, so we shouldn't add cutscenes in ARR?
They added a jukebox type feature in FFXI in the Hostle located at Aht Urghan Whitegate, so I really wouldn't be surprised if SE would add another feature like this.
Most people who've never played MMORPGs before would believe that a developer would basically waste time on something "people would rarely use" even though every MMO developer out there does it. Just because you personally wouldn't use it, doesn't mean everyone else wouldn't either.
I would love to have a Final Fantasy radio inside the Mog House.
So, you think I've never played an MMO because I can tell what features would be a waste of time or extremely low priority for developers?
I've played MMOs since 2004, bud. Very few people care about limited in-game tools that are infinitely better done by 3rd parties. Very few people use the in-game screen shot tool over FRAPs or Steam screenshots. Nobody cares about in-game voice chat when Ventrilo, Skype, and Mumble exist. The majority of people stop caring about in-game music after a few months of play and opt for iTunes/Pandora/whatever.
I ultimately don't care if they implement an in-game radio or not. Yoshi's already on top of things and is good enough at analyzing what features will be used and what features will end up being a waste of development resources. I'm just posting my objections because this company already has an MMO with features that ended up being a waste of resources.
I remember just sitting for hours watching my moogle spin while doing homework waiting for my ls to do something.
I would like a jukebox feature with XIV game music for our housing, that would be niiiiiiiice.
see there quite a few people like it, specialy if u doing homework :P
Hell I wouldn't even mind a Radio-linkpearl that you aquire through the storyline or something that links players to a jukebox style menue where they can pick the game music they want to play.
Sometimes you just want to relax and listen to some different music after hearing the chocobo or crafting music for a few eons while still playing the game and not needing to mute the in-game music and play your own music.
how about this option...

instead of that "Joe" guy, maybe a moogle/mandragora jamming like crazy on the piano?
Off-topic:
Comon SE Give us a Chrono Trigger remake (like FF4 on PSP)
I stand corrected.
Oh sweet, Ty for that i forgot all about it, they could even partner up with Final Fantasy Stream, Thats a Radio that stream online only plays only FF music
..."are"?
..."ARE"?!
You have made me unjustifiably upset!
How DARE you make a typo like that!
But yeah, sounds like a nifty idea.
Moghouse Jukebox..I support this idea sooo much.
Even for in-game music, perhaps make it so tracks in game that you haven't yet reached arent available, until you've experienced the area or the event itself, then that audio file and the cutscenes in the unending journal become availble at the same time. Granted, I spend a majority of the time with in game audio off and listening to Pandora, simply because the ingame music has lost its novelty to me after hearing it for so long. So there will come a time when I will turn 2.0's music off and return to Pandora, but being able to return to my residence and fire up the jukebox and listen to a particular series of tracks that I adore would be a welcomed treat.
If they add the jukebox, they could include songs that are otherwise being taken out of the game. I'm pretty sure the Nael Deus Darnus fight music will not be relevant because the lyrics sing in praise of the "Raven". If we had a jukebox, we could listen to this again!
They could also set it up so that we don't get access to songs we haven't heard before, sort of like how we can only teleport to places we've been to. Once we hear the song, it will become available in our jukebox! This would give people the incentive to explore various content to fill out their jukebox playlist.
