This is my sentiment as well. The event was "okay;" certainly more effort went into it than their usual 'run around Gridania talking to 4 NPCs about a 'problem' that's solved in 5 minutes.' But I only found it to be slightly better than those 10-minute "events." But still, better.
The rewards are pretty varied, I'll give them that. I still think the T-shirts are lazy in more ways than one, but I suppose it matches what they wanted to go for with this particular Little Ladies' Day- which is modern, glowstick-waving fans at a concert.
The whole FATE/event is a callback to years ago when we used the first set of glowstick emotes to cheer-on the idols during a FATE in a similar fashion, so, it's hard to be too critical of it for that...
Having said that though, I still find that this event pales in comparison to their legacy Halloween instanced duties, instanced Valentione duties (especially having just come from the more fun/involved patisserie duty), and even various older outdoor FATEs like the mochi-pounding New Years one, or the ones that utilized event mount's special actions. Compared to all of those, this is barely a pulse-check; not engaging or fun at all.
I suppose there's something to be said about having a 0-stress, easy event FATE that's more involved than simply talking to NPCs (and gives you reasons to run it repeatedly), but honestly, I found it very mediocre and would have preferred to have reasons to run 'fun' events like the Valentione's patisserie duty multiple times to collect everything the same way this 2-minute FATE (that doesn't feel engaging beyond some simple point-and-click tablet game for preschoolers) asks of players wanting to collect everything and then some...
