Yep, just got plotzed again.
If it's the ISP, get a new ISP -- preferably one that can handle the traffic. But I don't think it's the ISP.
It is indeed a problem on the ISP's end and this is well documented in a 150+ page thread that was recently bumped back to life. NTT has problematic node(s) on route to the game's servers and they are dropping connections. This has actually been an issue for years, but more people are just starting to experience since early-mid Dawntrail. so if you wanna play and avoid the disconnections, you need to get a VPN that doesn't pass through these affected nodes.

The info is appreciated, but SE's complete apathy is unacceptable. Here's hoping they make some kind of concrete statement once more of their team members return after the holidays, but I'm honestly done with the whole thing.
no chance world first will be an NA team on NA servers. If I didnt have a static who seems to be still planning to try, I'd be done with this cr*p. GG ffxiv.

Yep, that one probably got most of the RMT ERP'ers.
Hi, this is still ongoing and a lot more are affected then what shows in the forum. Please resolve the issue, or refund the players.
It's happening on savage day. Hopefully this will lead to some kind of statement or at least anything that doesn't mimic the behavior of an ostrich.

Simply put they use the same company they use in Japan for their nodes. While the company they use is considered first rate in that country with security, the NA child company they use is second or even third rate in terms of security and network connectivity. Basically they do not care about the NA players that are experiencing the 90002 connection error. Its also that the servers are struggling to keep player load too. I experienced this about 4 or 5 times today late afternoon when all people are working.

13 disconnects today so far! Yeahhhh! I PAY FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION TO NOT PLAY THE GAME............

These "DDoS attacks" are out of hand. It's not like it's a free to play game, we pay to play, solve it or give NA players compensation days. I get that you guys aren't the ones causing the issue, but you're not a indie company either. Do something.

Stop ignoring the DDOS attacks.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is "Cloudwarp", where can I get it, and how *exactly* does it help prevent disconnections due to DDoS/NTT/whatever?
