Is there any way at all we can speed up island sanctuary? I had originally skipped the content as a whole since it was time gated and this is a sub based game, thinking once it was completed i would be able to enjoy it at my leisure, but it doesnt seem to be the case. I have to wait IRL time for these to complete?
I'm level 4 and I just want the LVL 20 glam piece and am hoping to knock out as much as possible while deciding to keep my sub active or not. If theres no way to do this, i guess ill just have to skip this content as a whole.

As far as I can recall, outside poking nodes manually for the pitiful isle exp gain, nada. Even if you technically able to keep gathering nonstop until max level (godplsno), I think you'll still be gated at some levels as they demand some Seafarer Cowries (blue coins) which can only come from selling animal leavings, crops, and workshops. What about those three? Yeah... they are all timegated, too.
Honestly the timegating in that content kinda make me think I'm playing some F2P mobile game with some battlepass weekly XP/Resource limit system lmao. -

Island would be way better if you could cooperate with someone doing stuff what had futher influence on the island , mobs and all else.
Had a potential to be a wonderful minigame and some adventure but it's just.. click here move click there move again meh excel thingie -

Iirc, many back then used a bot as soon as they unlocked the mountain peak and just afk'd. (Simple auto clicker)
To my knowledge nobody ever had any consequences as it's your own solo instance and since SE dropped Island Sanctuary like a hot potato after EW....
yeah I don't think anything would happen so someone doing that now too.
Would recommend waiting otherwise as the "gameplay loop" in there is so boring, stupid and monotonous. -

Yeah, it's one of the main reasons I dropped IS even tho it had cute glams, minions, and mounts. I dislike the endless clicking for gathering mats and how much time wasted each day even tho it's technically over at the end of EW.

It should've been more like PvP where people who enjoy that niche part of the game can look forward to small but frequent updates and new rewards. They could've even added a similar "battle/season pass" to it just like PvP, gotten creative with the farming and raising animals, a better way to make gil (late enough that it wouldn't likely be abused by RMTs), a house, and even included more layouts and building designs.Quote:

I only ever completed Island Sanctuary once. I used that sprint + Lock on harvesting mod while watching Netflix, and even then, that nonsense was a chore. The whole market element was quite lovely; I enjoyed it, but I didn't enjoy needing to join a Discord channel to see the best exp gains as much.
Basically, it's more anti-alt stuff. That doesn't really amount to anything once you hit level 20.
Which is a shame. -

Most people botted island because of how boring it is. It's a lot of chore to level up. It's honestly a fail project. Nobody cares about it anymore. I most of the time forget that I even have an island. It could have been something very good but these devs only have one thing in mind when creating new stuff;
- gathering till you die
- please collect 30k useless stuff for achievement
Instead they could have created a nice relaxing thing or housing districts and so on. So far there's no need to visit anyone's island nor even change how it looks. It's just mega yawn boring. -

Matter of perspective but I feel neutral towards the buildings design. bath could have been a little bit different, lighthouse could have had stairs around or jumping puzzle, there are some nice things like the main shed.
Rotating buildings is good feature. Maybe it could have option to build things directly on the beach or on the mountain, outside of the base without other buildings. -

For anyone that is progressing through Island Sanctuary, use the guides and daily workshop setups to get over 30k Cowries a week from the Overseas Casuals Discord server. The guides are very helpful to help you progress as quickly as possible too. It was very helpful for me and when I was tending my Island Sanctuary daily during EW, I amassed 2 million cowries that I use to buy the dyes to use and sell on the MB. I still have over 1.5 million Cowries on each of my catgirls and I haven't touched my Island Sanctuary since DT came out lol.
