Chaos is dead, people leaving for Light or quit, FCs dying, everything is happening on Light. The player experience on Chaos is very bad. Have to wait hours to fill an unreal pf in prime time on a Tuesday. Cross DC duty finder could fix the problem but if that's hard to implement why not just merge the two EU DCs?

They can't because 'if' the populations later recovered you 'would' be mega F#d, and you just can't have a software service that is that vulnerable.
SE this where all my discontent and dismay and defeat with the social game 'started', you HAVE to deliver cross DC party finder ASAP.
You've left so long, too long, that you now HAVE to deliver cross DC duty finder too. You've only yourselves to blame.
For OCE, you maybe now have to deliver cross region features. (Offer bonus rewards to players willing to be shipped to high ping for their duty to help OCE. Id happily do it for free just to help, but I'm apparently very unusual among what remains of the community for wanting to help other people rather than just advanced my own clear/farm agenda.)
Temp hire a bunch of English speaking C++ $200,000 per annum devs if you have too, but get it done in time for 8.0. -

I don't want to bother changing data center everytime I want to find a group or pay to switch so I will just unsub considering the state of the game as a whole anyway. -

I get the frustration — it really is annoying. But honestly, I don’t think there’s much they could do about it outside of adding cross-DC party finder, and I’m not sure what technical issues that would bring. In hindsight, I should’ve researched more before transferring, since I moved from Zurvan to Chaos. Sure, there’s more activity than Zurvan, but man… we’re still pretty dead compared to Light.

Except this isn't Squares fault though, so there's nothing for them to solve.
Light cities are currently very overcrowded with <Travelers>.
If all the Chaos players on Light would travel back to Chaos this issue wouldn't exist. It's 100% player-made problem. -

The problem is the login server. If you merge the DCs then it will become the bottleneck and you will have huge queues. That's the reason why there are data centers.

This is one of the reasons why I moved my main to Light, DC travel was too tedious.
Now that the game is bleeding players, a cross-datacenter DF is needed more than ever. -

I think the reason is simply housing. The people on the low population servers usually stick around because they have housing, and SE currently can't cleanly port those from one server to another. Any recompense outside of simply a straight port of everything inside and outside to an identical district won't be enough for most of those players.

I agree. and this was also my thread a while ago in Oceana server. I've been waiting for 8 hours just to queue for alliance raids, 2-4 hours for normal raids and trials, 1-2 hours queue time for 4-man contents.

I already went grocery with wife and kids
ate breakfast
walked the dogs
ate lunch
played ps5 with my kids
did the laundry
took a shower
made love with my wife (3 rounds btw):cool:
slept for an hour
when I woke up it was still queueing! UNBELIVABLE!
I hope SE and the DEVS can resolve this huge matter. just make the DUTY FINDER and PARTY FINDER CROSSREGION
