[Request] Merge Chaos and Light DC

Chaos is dead, people leaving for Light or quit, FCs dying, everything is happening on Light. The player experience on Chaos is very bad. Have to wait hours to fill an unreal pf in prime time on a Tuesday. Cross DC duty finder could fix the problem but if that's hard to implement why not just merge the two EU DCs?

They can't because 'if' the populations later recovered you 'would' be mega F#d, and you just can't have a software service that is that vulnerable.

For OCE, you maybe now have to deliver cross region features. (Offer bonus rewards to players willing to be shipped to high ping for their duty to help OCE. Id happily do it for free just to help, but I'm apparently very unusual among what remains of the community for wanting to help other people rather than just advanced my own clear/farm agenda.)

Temp hire a bunch of English speaking C++ $200,000 per annum devs if you have too, but get it done in time for 8.0.

Agree, lets just let one DC fully die instead, and get the same result with less playerbase at the end.

You have to wait another 10 years until they invent the wheel. Its too complicated if u work with technologies from early 2000s.

DF takes very long even sometimes during prime time. I didn't know about the whole "everyone is on Light" thing and thought the game was lacking players.
I don't want to bother changing data center everytime I want to find a group or pay to switch so I will just unsub considering the state of the game as a whole anyway.

It's so annoying having to serverhop if I want to farm anything from the older content. At this point why even keep chaos, just migrate everything on light really

I get the frustration — it really is annoying. But honestly, I don’t think there’s much they could do about it outside of adding cross-DC party finder, and I’m not sure what technical issues that would bring. In hindsight, I should’ve researched more before transferring, since I moved from Zurvan to Chaos. Sure, there’s more activity than Zurvan, but man… we’re still pretty dead compared to Light.

DF does take a little longer now. Even the newest duties.
It would be nice to not have to DC hop to join the German RPers once in a while.

I'd have to agree, Me and my husband moved to Light just because of this issue. DF dead, PF dead. And we didn't want to server hop constantly
