Monster hunter wilds x ffxiv collab?

Do u guys think theyd do another MH xFFXIV collab again? Esp w the new monhun game?

We don't want collaboration with trash.

Tural would be a decent setting for a Monster Hunter collab, both aesthetically and with the whole "Tural Vidraal" thing.

I would hope so, the one we got back in StB was fun and I enjoyed the glams, minion and the Rathalos mount we got back then.

While I don’t know how much of 7.x is already set in stone, you’re right that Tural would be the perfect place for the collab!

There’s so many gear sets I’d like to see, but I’d settle for both versions of the Hope set. :)

their idea of collabs these days seems to be to completely replace a content slot with whatever is being collabed with, ie the nier and ff11 raids, instead of making original content relevant to ffxiv, or adding on to the content what we already get, like the rathalos trial which was an extra trial, so no. collabs just mean a lesser ffxiv experience at this point, and that experience is thin enough as it is.

though, to be fair, the monhun world collab was a decent enough one, putting aside that travesty of an armor set we got. i just don't trust these devs to do anything good with another opportunity given their recent track record.

So would a Wilds collab tank all pc players games like main game of Wilds has?

I'd love to have some of those wild Monster Hunter hairstyles in this game for sure.

Oh why thank you. My heart is still with thighlander but hrothgals are a very close second so I change it up sometimes, especially when Yoship gives us a free fanta. :)

I want a takeover, let some competent Devs from capcom run in and show them how class balance and encounter design actually works.

When the World collab was announced, I actually mistook World for another MMO that it took me times to get into it until I played it with a friend.


But for Wilds I remembered some old MHwilds survey mentioning FFXIV in the "Please select all the series or titles you have purchased" that went from old Monster hunter titles to other Capcom titles, to other games

Which were: (Yes I'm going to call those names in their order)
Elden ring, Hogwarts Legacy, Destiny 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XVI, Diablo IV, Baldur's Gate 3, Black Myth: Wukong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, The Witcher 3: Wild hunt.

I don't think the guy has touched wilds at all if he gonna just say "no its trash. No its garbage" I enjoy wilds and FFXIV devs or the MH wilds team said they want to bring bahamut to wilds. Be cool if they brought two monsters from MH wilds here. Maybe Lala barina, or even one ofmy favorites arkveld. Arkveld would be cool cause it could absorb aether or ceruleam for buffs or new attacks

Nah, screw Wilds, their frame generation, their LITERAL PS3 textures and their "recommended" specs. The only reason I didn't quit sooner was because of my fluffy Palico. I'd rather play 1.0 than encourage CAPCOM's bs with this game.

While Wilds is pretty badly optimized, it's still a great and enjoyable MH (saying this as a MH veteran) with cool new monsters, so a collab would be nice. If it were to happened, Arkveld would probably be their pick. But I'd love to see a XIV style Zoh shia's fight.

Anyway, most of these posts talk about Wilds' horrendous optimization rather than the game itself, which is not the point I think, gotta be honest, looking at ff14's state, I don't think we can proudly laugh at another's game questionnable quality

Sure we can. Laughter is a great coping mechanism.

Funny that Wilds and FFXIV are in the same boat, both losing a lot of casual players, but for different reasons.

This. It takes ages for anything to happen with this game, so when it does, let it not be a waste of dev time and resources- especially given that YoshiP has recently confirmed that they are working with rations as it is.

Every collab FF14 has ever done has been hot garbage. I'd prefer if they just stuck to what they're good at - copying everything from old FF games poorly
