Ultimate Rewards

The weapons you get from completing an Ultimate are very cool and i won't complain about them, but i kinda wish there was something else you could get along with them too. Imagine getting a big trophy of Perfect Alexander (the best Ultimate boss) that you could put up in your house or something idk.

The transmogs suffice for something that is zero skill and all memorization.

If you want edge e fame go play an rts or real competitive game against real people.

Ultimates other than UwU still require some level of skill, with DSR and TOP being way harder and not clearable by every Johnny Twofinger on earth

Ultimates doesn't require skill, only a lot of practice.

know rotation don't die and know where to go bam fight done ok maybe not that simple but I sadly agree no skill aren't needed

Would be nice to see actually.

I have seen some raiding-focused FCs use a lot of mannequins as a showcase room of sorts for the various different weapons from ultimate.

I have a couple ultimate prog but haha my static died not long after we started since then I just didn't bother but still want to do one and have a weapon!

That's the skill requirement, and you only get that through Practice.

and it still have the hardest content done without a healer even if it is 0.1 I still think it show bigger problem

Whoever came up with the concept that raiding in FFXIV "is just a memory game" cursed this discussion to oblivion, might as well criticize it because it's a pattern recognition based game.

Maybe this stupid idea that it's just a memory based game is why people have such a hard time adapting to M6S adds phase. When they have to do something they didn't memorize it all falls apart.

all MMO are like that but there is on thing I miss from the old time and it's randomness like no more hit does critical from bosses anymore like I feel raiding become well simple like just always in the same order and M6S add phase is the first time I wil last this. that they did good in a fight but we will never see it again I am probably sure anyways

Being able to memorize mechanics and rotations is a skill. Some learn it faster and clear savage and ultimates week 1 and some are stuck at titan jails in uwu for 6 months. Not everyone has the mental capacity to process and memorize fight mechanics and rotations within a couple pulls which is fine but saying Ultimates dont require any skill is a flat out lie.
That being said... Why are you even talking about ultimate difficulty when no content you have cleared in DT goes past normal-raid?

But in all honesty, it would have to be something incredibly small, and this is probably why ultimates only give a weapon and a title. Anything else would put the community in a bad mood.
