Another sweepstake with Twitter/x only

And yet another sweepstake that you can only enter via a Twitter/x account.
Nice prizes again, the fat cat earrings are great and I would love to win it.
If there were alternative ways to enter, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
But this way it's not an option for me.

And before anyone here says: don't do it then - yes, I won't do it, but not without expressing my disappointment and not giving up hope that there will soon be other ways to take part.

BlueSky should be an option at this point.

From what I know, the SE CEO is not only a metaverse bro, a cryptobro but also a CEO, is it really any surprise that he's an Elon fanboy? Giving their customers other options and cutting into their own or their boys profits is not on the table for most of these dudes.

That is exactly why these things happen on Twitter, and not on the Forums like they used to. Its free publicity. And so long as a social media platform has a certain amount of users, it will always be attractive to a company.

I would definitely choose twitter over bluesky, but it's like they forget they have a forum they could use....

i refuse to make a twitter err sorry i meant "X" account so i'll be passing on this contest yet again

also earrings is a dumb reward in my opinion i mean honestly who actually goes around looking at what accessories other people are wearing? outside of checking its item level i couldnt care less what someones earrings looked like

yeah, same.

I literally deleted my Xitter account last week. It's been enshittified to the point where it wasn't pleasant to use, and 50% of the users are bots, and only maybe 10% of the remaining users are people or businesses I actually would like to care about.

I'm back on Tumblr (lol) and Bluesky.

I really wish I could quit Bookface as well, but it's literally the only way I have to get in touch with some friends IRL -_-

It'd be nice to have the option even if I personally wouldn't use it
