Is the Exploration zone in 7.2?

Question as in the title. Is the Exploration zone going to release in one of 7.2 patches?

I ask this, because right now its the only feature I'm looking forward to in the near future. Would be a shame if it got shifted to be released in 7.3 patches instead (Hope not!)

Edit: During the stroll, it was confirmed the exploration zone is coming in patch 7.2 cycle. Hurray!

If ShB is indicative, then it's most likely 7.25 for the introduction, e.g., through the relics, and then 7.35 for the actual zone.

Hopefully after seeing the backlash to Dawntrail, it's release got moved up.

We don't know yet. We'll probably get a better idea when we get 7.2's part 1 LL.

Ah, yes. The perfect content that is coming that will SAVE Dawntrail. This content is flawless and judging by Dawntrail's trackrecord up until now, NOTHING will be wrong with it. This will save the game, get numbers back up, something about profits. and nuke all toxicity!

7.35 most likely and these tend to feel very barebones until more updates roll in so dont hold your breath.

Expect it for 7.25.

lets face it, it's going to release 7.2X and either be half assed or purely gathering and crafting, and die out real fast

It'll come. Then there'll be massive complaints and some how everyone'll be surprised when its lackluster like everything this expansion has been. The amount of positivity surrounding this one thing when the trackrecord of Dawntrail so far is insane. People don’t have high hopes, they are desperate for literally anything at this point

They could clone Bozja 1 to 1 and paint it blue and it would still be the high watermark of DT content

To be fair, Shadowbringers patch content was mediocre and received similair backlash as Dawntrail in its current state. It was not until later in the expansion where people changed their tune a bit. 5.1-5.35 was similairly dry so I expect DT to go through the same thing within 7.1 to 7.35.

Both are coming. They have mentioned Cosmic Exploration for the DoH and DoL side and Shades' Triangle for the field content.

I imagine the actual separate zone i.e. the Bozjan Southern Front of DT would come out at 7.35, just like its predecessor: 1 full cycle of major patch since the solo duty introduction.

It depends how they do it but they released it in 4.25 for Stormblood. Either way, they will do something at that patch.

It wouldn't matter if it was the best content ever. People will complain for the sake of complaining. Maybe not you specifically, but not matter what the content is, some people will be negative about it.
"Oh look, another ultimate that I can't do."
"Oh look, more easy content."
"Oh look, another filler seasonal event."
"Oh look, another boring allied society quest."
"Oh look, another limited class added - Beastmaster? I wanted Robot Inventor! Damn you, SE!"

Whatever comes out next will likely be great to some players and terrible for others. Just like the last patch and patch before that and the patch before that... and the next patch and the patch after that.

Not wrong, but definitely shouldn't defend it, because that sounds like what you're doing. They could solve this problem by revising exactly how they release content, and them some.

How would that change someone somewhere not liking the content that was put out and complaining it wasn't exactly what they had in their head as their ideal thing to do?

Depending on how rigidly they want to adhere to 4 1/2 months per patch, 7.35 could easily be closer to October or November. I'm sure it'd go over great.

Good news! In the stroll with YoshiP, it was confirmed the exploration zone is coming in 7.2 patch cycle.

Ok lets be real Chaotic was a good call but with exploration and relic i've been saying this and even have a thread with my perfect patch cycle, which is objectively (yes objectively not subjectively the best out there). So SE should change calling the first Savage patch X.05 (you know the half patch) and call it X.02 and then actually drop the Exploration Zone/Relic and even the first Variant/Criterion in X.05 instead of squeezing everything out at the end of the expansion.
So as i think Bozja did the big 24/48 man stuff in 5.35, 5,45 and 5.55. That should have been CLL in 5.15 (introducing the southern front in 5.05), 5.35 For Reginae, and then Dalriada 5.55. Similarly the kinda equivalent in EW was Criterion so ASS should have been 5.05, AMR 5.25, and AAI in 5.45 instead of 5.25, 5.45 and 5.51. With normal mode dropping a coin similar to Alliance and giving accessories and then Savage whatever and variant was fine.
Ulimately by point drop stuff in X.05 instead of waiting over year to actually start your expansion's main content and then evenly spreading it out over the whole expansion.

So a good chance it will be 7.25 keeping with the previous pattern of coming out on a .25 patch. If 7.2 is in March then that sounds like about May, though IIRC 7.1 and 7.15 were only about a month so there could be some leeway.

So two what sounds to be joke of side quests little to nobody enjoyed overall, tbh I don't even know if custom deliveries count, and... another raid on top of the normal raid, savage counterpart, the Ultimate, and the Chaotic. Don't forget the bit of this most recent patch to address one of many complaints of said Chaotic.
