yeah it should be a high amount of gil , but it would be meant as a gilsink
Defeats the entire purpose of sanction.
Place a sanction NPC inside all instance would be great for you all
If you not happy with Sanction, farm your gil buy a triple melded gear.
I'm starting to get sad they even introduced sanction gear. I feared people would 'expect' to have those stats all the time and complain if they can't. Seems hard to understand that it's not meant to be on all the time and there is supposed to be some inconvenience, and to decrease it further would negate the point of it being sanctioned (which then negates the 'balance' in the item).
Nah.... Cost should be based on your Highest Level
lv1 500gil ~ lv50 3000gil
If its too high to like 40k players might feel its not worth paying for. If its 5000gil and its provided everywhere and players will use it more and it will be far greater gil sink then a 40k price.
This would also promote some new low level Sancation gear.
If its provided at every Aethright Crystal/Camp that be great.
Sancation should be free at Grand Company spots still but far outta some players reach even for major reuse it should be supplyed nearby at a price.
Also Seal cost for those scrolls seem to be costly. I'd rather pay gil then seals. Still those scrolls can be used in any spot.
They will be supplying food with sancation. I'm sure we will be more common with seeing sancation everywhere.
Its true that this game needs some kinda gil sink but the major problem is that game rewards too much gil. What Square Enix needs to do is to.... #1 Lower the GIL rewards levequests/Quests/NPC selling prices, #2 Lock down servers #3 Band RMT and lower the GIL count on the server, #4 add a new endgame system that requires you to spend money toget into like Dynamis, Einherjar etc. Doing these steps would lower server gil by 30-40%.
why do we need a gil sink?
You want a sanction price lower than the airship price? 400k Gil and not cheaper, I say.
The price is low for the scroll. Just do 1 caravan.Quote:

With 2 hour cool down time for each food, why not ^^Quote:

But only if you need rare mats to make the food. Like a flawless part in the recipe.
Players don't use airships as often as they want them to. Some added flying spots on field areas would be great rather then citys.
Correct me if im wrong but isnt scrolls 300seals each? Still players die alot. Like most players they want 99 scrolls...29700seals ouch.
It screws with the economy. Don't be dense.
yes im dense
please explain it in simple term
no one would use it, the whole point of wanting other sanction options is to not have to leave the current event you are at. putting them at the camps saves you about 30 seconds of time because right now if you die and loose sanction you simply return to your Inn get sanction for free, and then return to the ayther all for the cost of nothing. Personally I think they should remove the Unique from the scroll. They already cost 300 seals so its not like they are free as the reps that post responses concerning the issue tend to forget about. Honestly its not a huge inconvenience as it is all the system does now is make me not want to waist my seals on a scroll since I can only buy one at a time.
There's still way too much gil in this game, especially for those who've played since the start when you were bathing in gil from doing a handful of leves a day and vendoring everything turned you a profit. You need to sink the gil to stablize the economy because as we've seen people sure as heck aren't going to do it themselves.
"Hey I should sell this class weapon for 30,000,000 because I got lucky on double melds!"
It's common sense and not a secret -- I know you've been playing FFXIV for quite some time, you should know how much gil entered this game during it's first year until SE nerfed it.
yes I also know a lot of the player base has turned over since then, don't get me wrong I know there are lots of people out there that have lots of gil but to tie numbers to that is just silly. Gil sinks are fine, gil sinks no one will use is pointless and a waist of development time.
As for the class weapon comment, it is very very easy to burn way more gil then that on trying to create one I find the 30 mill price a reasonable one that shouldn't be to hard for anyone to get if they set their mind to it.
