12 Mythos, did I miss something?

I see the Legatus battle in the notes, but nothing alluding to the 12 Mythos. Not that I know what the side quests are about. Just wondering if i missed some post about them not being included in this patch or coming in 1.23a. Also are we supposed to see some changes to the world? I mean besides Dalamud turning the sky red or something.

There is still 1.23a and 1.23b coming ^^

They also might have left it out to prevent spoilers.

Probably. Notice how in the patch notes there is no picture of Van Darnus (they always put a pic of primals when they add them, even a trailer). Also no mention of any drops (which also always had a trailer before the primal came out)

I hope Van Darnus drop gun weapons.
gun lance, gun sword, gun bow, gun fists, gun axe and 2 gun staffs.

That's what everyone was hoping for when the stronghold came out. I suppose Van Darnus dropping them makes more sense.

Turns out To Kill A Raven involves a trip to Van Darnus's house where, when they get there, the heroes find that the door is locked. We have to wait for the locksmith to arrive in patch 1.23a.

Unfortunately due to engine difficulties, we cannot implement a locksmith to open the door we locked.

This will be addressed in 2.0, so please wait for it ^^.

You are mistaken, To Kill A Raven involves defending Van Darnus in a Court of Law against charges brought on by a female Hyur.... Wait no, that's something else, but I can't put my finger on it....

Nael van Darnus was just busting up a chiffarobe, he didn't do nothing else. Definitely didn't do anything with Dalamud.

To Kill A Raven is Yoshi's new cunning challenge to us... climb up 100 floors of lvl 99 mob-infested Dalamud (Nael Van Darnus' new crib) and defeat him... or else you cannot log out. Yep, I'm making a direct and shameless reference to Sword Art Online's story. Rumours hold that these are the only rules:

- Any attempt to log out or if you fall in battle will ensure that your character will be deleted and you lose all your items. In addition, the white mage skill "Raise" has been adjusted and will no longer exist after patch 1.23.

- You have until the launch of 2.0 to complete this mission, (news of the beta in Oct was just a front...this IS the beta finale.)
