how do i redownload the game from SE store

title. new PC, need game again.

There is currently no official download source.
So you either find the game CD you once had, buy a new one or search for other....ways..of downloading.

i didnt get it via CD, i digitally downloaded it from the SE store, but i dont have the original email with all the links and that jazz.

after my brother got a lawsuit from -that- site after downloading ...adult materials, i refuse to allow my family there after the fact. luckily, it was quashed.

Yeah, if you can't redownload, I do recall Direct2drive being supported but I've never used it. Otherwise..yeah get someone to lend their disk or take the risk and torrent till 2.0 which I assume they'll be supported on steam like XI is.

You do know that SE can't really sue you for downloading content that you allready own and have payed for right? You oubviously purchased the game if you have a registered account.

Pretty sure they could actually. They can make the argument that you're downloading someone else's copy since they originally ripped it and put it up. Now, if they'd actually go out of the way to do that is an entirely different matter. I strongly doubt they'd go out of the way to turn away someone who is trying to give them money, especially for FFXIV. You never really know with that wacky company and their sometimes nonsensical decisions though.

I believe they can try but they won't. The game is unless without the codes and you can only get that from buying it so why would they care if someone used a torrent to download the game. Just when your downloading it make sure you scan it for viruses before you install it. If you can get the link from someone else who bought it direct download that would be better though cause then you don't have to worry about getting a STD from the dirty pirates.

the link i have for it is fine. as a matter of fact i used it myself. no viruses or anything to that nature. just need to have virtual drive to mount it on and you're good

not if she can provide proof that she did purchase from them ie receipt showing that it was purchased on such and such a day. or even a credit card receipt if they allow it as a pop.

i've got one as a last resort, but id like to find a legitimate source before i go down that road.

no problem just let me know if you want the link i have it's not a bad download site I download from them all the time for bit torrent and the file with the seeders seem to be going at a good pace too

btw thanks for reminding me of this i didn't have the .iso anymore and would be screwed if something happened to my computer easier for me to put it on my external hd as a back up jic

and to se I will be buying an actual copy of the game... just waiting for ps3 release

Oh my god every time I try to type on this forum my stupid power goes out so here's trying for a typing of a responce to this part two (sorry bad storm going on here where i live... yaaay florida)

Anyway I doubt that would honestly matter. She has an account. She has a credit card statement showing she purchased it directly from se. They actually made the game to where you didn't have to use the code when you installed the game just for registering an account. You can install the game as many times as you want whenever you want where ever you want. So it's more of them just confirming everything and them being opened to help assist her since she's wanting to go a more legal route. =)
