I really hope Limsa Lominsa gets more love. It has nothing in it. It seems every new announcement we get for new content, it always goes to Ul'dah or Gridania.
Developers, please give Limsa Lominsa more content.

Limsa sucks.
That said, skirmishes will be based in LL, along with PvP. So there's that. I'll have much more importance come 2.0. Which is cool, the city looks nice, it just has an awful layout at the moment, and I understand why they never put anything there.
It's layout isn't really that difficult. The top section goes straight up and down and the bottom part goes left and right... with a few branch-outs. But I agree, compared to Ul'dah and Gridania, it's the most confusing layout.
Still, there is a ton of land and it's a port town. There's plenty of things you can add to it.
i think limsa should be attacked by a kraken EVERYDAY.
somebody missed the announcement about Skirmish.
I know how you feel Kagato

However Limsa is getting SOME love but it's still absolutely nothing compared to the other two cities lol. Our two main Primals likely won't get released until 2.0 anyway so until then it's a Limsa-free life for most everyone. I personally love the city though.
Don't worry Kagato, we'll be getting leviathan soon...
Wasn't that the name of the place we did the Beta at? Been a long time?
The coliseum is based there according to the 2.0 artwork/info. LL will definitely stand out more than it does now. Even Skirmish will give it some attention.
Oh, I've heard of it...
Merlwyb and the rest of us Maelstrom members hang out there~
You would think the main war npc for WAR job quests would've been placed in Limsa and not Ul'dah :(
You guys are on the wrong server lol.
Ragnarok's limsa is pretty lively everyday. (yes there's actual players)
I don't understand. Are we talking about some kind of bean?
if you can navigate Windurst, there's no reason Limsa should confuse you at all.
Story Wise it makes senes since LL is off the mainland, there's not reason for the empire to be focused in that territory when they have 4-5+ faction to worry about on the mainlands. You have the gridanian's, the uldan's the Amal, the Ixal and the Coerthas inhabitants. If you want to go a step further then there is also the gridnian elementals, and the moogles.
On LL's side it's pretty much the kobold and sahagin's but even then it's 3 factions but odds are kobold's have no means to traveling to the main land, the sahagin would most likely be halted by weakening Leviathan and logically defeated Garuda should have weakened the wind around Eorzea making it harder for ships powered by wind to travel to the main content from LL while the empire most likely has more advanced tech that doesn't require on the wind.
Of course the other answer as to why LL hasn't been involved is because of bad timing, LL has Leviathan which represents flood and tsunamis while Titan represents Earthquakes, and since a disaster did occur in japan about a year ago it may have been seen as poor taste to introduce those primals and have cutscenes which involved people getting swept up by tsunamis or a quake engulfing people into the darkness below.
LL will have it's time to shine though and perhaps they will surprise us with either Levi/Titan making an appearance during 1.23. Only time will tell of course but you can be sure to see that there are a lot of secrets awaiting this final series of patches that we'll only learn about a week or so before the patch actually goes live XD.
Gridania too..... -.-
oh wait.. forgot toto-rak......
Gridania don't have a stronghold or high-level content but you think that's more important of Limsa? why?
Lack of content in all city, not only limsa
In addition to content I wouldnt mind seeing Limsa get more color. It feels a little too 'grey' / incomplete for me. Maybe more ships docked? I dont know, it needs something to punch it up....
Limsa getting the new PVP Colliseum in 2.0 I think.
Hey, I go to Limsa all the time. Then again, I'm a cook and alchemist. So I have to go there for some of my ingredients rather frequently. It's sort of like going to Costco, though.
Kinda like how you did just now?

Hi there,
The Development team confirmed to me that the rate to get the rewards in skirmishes is gonna be higher than the rate in other endgame activities (like dungeon and primals).
Weapons are the only rewards from Skirmishes, and are targeted to those players who can't beat Garuda.
My statement still stands. You assume it'll be dead on arrival and it probably won't be. As a matter of fact, from how the community is it will probably become some of the more popular weapons used seeing as it's easy to get with a good drop rate.
There are more people who can't beat or won't try Garuda than there are who have weapons already.
Where did you get that Pvp is going to be "based" in LL? I'm pretty sure there's going to be more than one place for PvP events, and I don't really recall any specific place being specified as of yet.
What makes you say that? a LOT of people haven't been able to beat garuda. It's not a walk in the park and you need to be well geared If anything, there will be less people doing garuda because there will be an easier alternative.Quote:
Skirmish was designed for people who can't/didn't beat Garuda. Making it dead on arrival.
That being said, I'd wish they'd give some more attention to gear categories with less variety, like DOH/DOL secondary tools, many types of armor, earrings, and more. Then there's that "pack" slot that still has a grand total of 0 items that can be placed in it.
