could krile become a "spoiler"

So i could be entirely wrong and might be missing/misremembering some info(so please correct me), but could the MSQ be hinting that krile will become a Oracle(prophet in japan)? The reason i was thinking this is because of the ronka hero tiuna which the shadowbringer MSQ dialogue says this about her

"Y'shtola: I wonder... By the light... of fallen stars... great power awakens...

Almet: Tiuna was not only a master of spellcraft. It is said she could see truths long lost and hear the voices of men's hearts."

And then we have this description of krile from the wiki

"She discovered she possessed the Echo at the age of twelve. In her, it manifested as a sensitivity to the whispers of the soul, and her adolescence was a dark time hounded by the thoughts of others."

And unless im misremembering, in endwalker krile had a vision( which no one else saw) of the final days and stars falling while in Sharlayan. Again it might be a stretch and was curious what everyone else thinks about this possible link.

Edit: dont have a link but i remember yoshi saying Oracle was his personal favorite pick for caster in stormblood but they chose red mage since it made more sense lore wise. So now that it time for a caster again maybe yoshi will try to fit it in.

Every Echo user saw a vision of falling stars at some point; the vision is what causes the Echo to awaken. The vision Krile sees in Endwalker is the same vision the Warrior of Light sees, only viewed from a different perspective. The evidence presented is just evidence that Krile and Tiuna both have the Echo.

I cant seem to remember, when did the WOL have vision of meteors in endwalker?( not arguing just cant remember). I remember that Thavnair and Garlemald had metor showers but everyone saw those two. Also why would krile have another personal vision of meteors if her echo had already been unlock? I was thinking it was more a vision what would happen to Sharlayan if help did not arrive for the WOL.

That's how I took it, some sort of "What if" vision.

The latest MSQ seems to hint heavily at green mage but this could be a neat way to tie Tiuna back into things. Her mural appeared in the trailer for that patch and everything and then they did basically nothing with her. I was always disappointed we got Nier instead of something Ronka-themed that could have focused on relics from her time or something along those lines.

Yes, Krile saw into the future, as did the WoL at the same time, seeing the same events but viewed from their current locations. Krile saw what would happen in Sharlayan, and WoL saw what the planet was going to look like, viewed from the moon. WoL didn't specifically see the meteor shower thing because it wasn't actually a meteor shower and it wasn't visible from the moon.

Krile, Tiuna, WoL, Arenvald, etc. all saw visions of the original final days when Hydaelyn showed it to them in order to awaken the Echo in them.

I'd like to note that the WoL has only seen the meteor shower in 1.0 starting cutscene.

From my experience as someone who played around ShB. The only meteor shower you see in ARR is two or three meteors falling from the sky in the aetherial sea after acquiring the first crystal.

????......wasn't we in Ultima Thule( or going too it) when krile had that vision? So we didn't have it at the same time. Also we didn't see a meteor shower on the moon, we saw the world decaying and heard a voice after defeating Zodiark.

Just a theory but im wondering if this expansion going to have a heavy ff5 theme, my reasons so far

1. Alot mention of krile and galuf.
2. Alot of underground ruins
3. Alot of serpent themes with local culture
4. An secret object above an desert( maybe the flying city of ronka since that was bury under a desert in ff5)
5. The viper Wol in trailer has moment where he connects the blades together with an ark of electricity which make feel like the weapons could be some type of technology. Maybe an tradition ronka fighting style?
6. Oracle was an earth crystal job(if i remember right) which was base in ff5 ronka.
7. The eliminator and the one fanfest map look very high tech which in ff5 ronka tech was very advanced.
8.ff5 features alot of cross dimensional travel, so i wonder if that would play a part?

Also Galuf's party were called Dawn Warriors/Warriors of Dawn, and we may be following what they did with the xiv version with Krile, so it's technically a "Dawntrail" lol

Yeah we were in Ultima Thule because Krile saw that in Sharlayan when everyone was standing and looking at the sky, worried about all of us after we left.

FFV could be awesome (it doesn't get nearly enough love) but so could FFIX and there's a few things that make me think of it. It'll probably be XI, though. Post-Fan Fest interviews said it was going to focus on one FF game I believe.

After some time, I think the t-shirt is in reference to the Amano art of the "Warriors of Dawn." Specifically, referencing more on Galuf. We also got the hint with earring that was in the letter to Galuf that Krile opened which heavily hints towards the job being Green Mage. As for what type of magic it does, I think it would be plant based due to the fact that Ghido (the Turtle reference, and "Shell" being a green mage spell as well) was able to keep Exdeath sealed away within the tree. Also pointing towards a more plant-based mage, in FFV Galuf's spirt uses the Guardian Tree to pass on his abilities to Krile, and I do believe the new job will be located in Gridania which has its own Guardian Tree in Centeral Shoud.

I totally agree, but it's fun to speculate or just throw around ideas! Green mage is a popular idea and I haven't really heard or seen any other alternatives. Yoshi P's TMNT shirt most likely represents ghido from FF5. I haven't played FF5, but it seems that Ghido was very prophetical (is this a word?), so Krile could have some sort of Oracle or Seer type job. I have also read that Ghido telepathically communicated with Krile at some point, and she could communicate with animals lol. So my next thought was something along the lines of a psychic or mystic, which is pretty far-fetch, but it'll be cool to have. As for green mage, I guess because turtles are green....but that seems too on the nose, and the whole guardian tree connection with Ghido; trees and nature and whatnot. Also, on a funny note, a friend who's also in the mystic/psychic camp, said that Yoshi P's shirt was just a reference to Splinter the rat lol. And in FF5, Krile's splinter was pretty significant, so it means that (1) Krile would be the new job and (2) Splinter the rat is based off Stick, a marvel character who trained with sorcerer supreme, and he could also telepathically communicate and manipuate life energy. So a mystic/psychic could possibly be in the cards!

What if it's not Oracle but actually Artist and the job will equip Paintbrushes? After all the 4 Ninja Turtles were all named after Renaissance Painters.

I’m still on the geomancer train. Though it’s currently in the east we really don’t know where it originated. It was taught to the first king of doma but again we don’t know where it originated from. It has nature powers of course. So the theme of Tural. The kojin are green and turtles too. Genbu is also a geomancer soooooo. I’m sticking to that train. It could be green mage but my fingers are crossed for us finally getting geomancer in ffxiv.

1. It's Green Mage. It might incorporate some Geomancer-like features, but it will be Green Mage, unless that earring is not a job hint at all.

2. We likely are never getting Oracle, because that identity was already given to Ryne and Gaia. To give the WoL the same job but implemented differently would undermine the worldbuilding, and to give them the job exactly as implemented would dilute a lot of the nuance/gravity of the Eden raids story. It's a lose-lose situation, which is why the moment Gaia was made an Oracle it seems quite clear to me the devs had decided this would only be a lore role and never a player job. You can see similar situations for other "not in XIV" jobs: Geomancer (Swallow's Compass), Thief/Necro/Berserker (Heroes' Gauntlet), Beastmaster/Puppetmaster (Bozja). If they were implemented as NPCs first, instead of being kept in the nebulous possibility space for future jobs, there is probably a reason why, likely involving deliberate dev decisions not to make them jobs.

I'm not saying it is impossible, but so far the game has avoided cannibalizing/poaching from existing content and continuously forging ahead into new design space. They would need to undergo a fundamental shift in design philosophy to open up the possibility of implementing "already featured" jobs, and until they actually do it I have little reason to anticipate they will. (And, to some extent, I hope they don't and just stop developing jobs if they reach that point? I would rather they not dilute the roster and focus on differentiating jobs before resorting to a few years of cheap "guess who we are pulling out of the trash bin?" gimmicks).
