The 10 year Rising event gave us such a tease. (Possible spoiler)

Okay, so people can say what they want about the event, but I'm hear to talk about the real tease the devs decided to give us.

Why would you tease us with a "possible" male miquitten?

Obviously it's not one, but the tease is still there. Fresh in our minds, that we wanna see little G'raha's running around too. Make it happen SE. Don't just dangle the carrot in front of our face. Give us male miquittens!

agree with that. one more dewy eyed look and I fear my warrior of light will be arrested for a sadistic murder event.

I dont mind the rest of the scions in all honesty... but he drives me...

I don't think so...children and old people are always complicated to do, imagine setting up gear and stuff.

As a strong believer in internet rule 34. i would say it is the best if we leave the little G'rahas alone. Khloe suffered already enough, there is no need to throw more polygons and pixels into this dark abyss.

Has there been any lala children yet in any of the events.

I mean, they very clearly used one of the existing child Miqo'te models, judging by how they angled the camera to hide the face in the cutscene. Also you can see how the hair is parted into pigtails if you look closely under the hat.

Dang, I saw your thread title and the spoiler warning, and it got me really excited that there'd be some kind of hidden, major story tease in the event quest. When I was sent to find the letter with a blue chocobo on it, I actually thought "Wait, a blue bird? A BLUE BIRD!!??" I was so psyched, lol. Why did you have to do this to me, OP. :p

Is the Rising Event active yet? I know the Moogle one is and there is a stage and even the music for Rising but the NPCs keep saying it's "being set up".

Why are you making the request in the first place? Isn't the lore that the children stay with their tribes until they become adults?

You need to get far enough into the quest before the NPCs will tell you anything other than that. Pick up the quest by Sunsilk Tapestries.

Not sure what that is but ill look it up tomorrow now that I know there is a quest starting point.

Thanks for letting me know i need to actually find the starting point because I was just gonna camp the stage till they said they were ready.

A few years back there was an x-mas event centered around a children's medical ward by the alchemist's guild in Ul'dah. Had Hyer, Elezen, and Lalafell kids in it. Although the popotos looked like regular ones. Guess the spuds just reach full size at a young age. *shrug*

Just open your map and look for a quest icon. It's a level 15 quest called Siblings Rising. It can be hard to spot some of the NPCs if there are a lot of other players crowding around them, though. If you're on PC, hold X to hide other player names, that should help.

There is also a new level 50 quest a little further down the road, I believe they were sort of between the tomestone moogle and the Immortal Flames grand company office. I haven't done that one yet, but I think it's also related to the Rising. It's kind of weird the Rising lodestone site makes no mention of it.

On the Lodestone, that quest is actually grouped under "Sidequests > Side Story Quests" and not "Other Quests > Seasonal Events." I wish I had been paying more attention to the text that appears when you accept it, but I bet it'll stick around even after The Rising ends.

I didn't pay it much mind at first, but I thought "Well, that's weird. I don't remember that quest being there before..." as I was running to pick up the Rising quest. I'm glad they added it though. It was a really good quest. Technically, we got something extra this year, though this appears to be a permanent addition for the time being.
