It's a numbers game. If you break the ToS once they will do exactly that. The Automated modding does NOT take context into account. Also they will comb through older postings to see if you have used a bad word once and then mass report that. I mean, if SE really really wants to destroy the forum community more than it already has, allowing troll alts with 5-10 posts to their name to post argument inciting rants in an effort to ban multi-year, long-term forum regulars is certainly the way to do it.
Actually, @Mods, can we get a "Report Troll" option? And can we get mods to act on bad-faith/false reporting? -
