Im probably one of the few that never did Glamour Report cause is boring as hell, so "MGP rewards from the Gold Saucer have been increased by 50% for the duration of this event" is cool for me.
is the real 'prize' I suppose.Quote:

* The Crystal Tower striker, Monster Toss machine, Cuff-a-Cur machine, and a number of other prizes may be purchased at a reduced MGP cost from the campaign attendant. In addition, certain items available during previous iterations of the event can be obtained from the same vendor.
I'm not gonna make it rain, I am gonna make it hail.
Isn't it a bit late this year?
Make it Rain is always light on quest rewards, since the boosted MGP gain is the real event.

Often there will be a new item for sale that isn't mentioned.
idk why but I thought we'd get the summer event at Costa before mir tbh.
I do need more mgp tho so whatever but still.
I think whatever bonus item will probably just be a gposebait item which isn't a bad thing but nothing worth getting hype over.
I kinda wish the Realm Reborn Red was just a regular emote
Seems like a standard Make It Rain quest reward to me. It's never been all that much. As others have said, the +50% MGP is the real event reward.
Moonfire Faire and The Rising are the events that usually run one after the other. It could be the year that MIR ran very late causing the confusion.
you're in luck, OP! the Make It Rain campaign starts next Friday! :D
here's the page for the event if you want to read it:

Honestly this years event is horrible. Could of at least added to the make it rain emote pool or something. :L
You're also getting a massive boost to MGP, which is the main appeal of the event. It's when the most people do stuff in the saucer to get mounts/emotes/ect they've been putting off easier
The Make it Rain is basically a filler event, so it's no surprise it gives player little in the way of 'exclusive event items'.
Honestly I was expecting the minion to come from the Manderville relic weapon stuff, personally.
LMAO you don't do it because it's "boring as hell"? Give me a break. Then it should be easy MGP each week then, right? Who wouldn't do it if it's so simple that it's boring? See most people don't do it because it takes too long and it's annoying. It's not supposed to be fun. It's the most MGP you can get at one time, so it's supposed to at least be mildly annoying and challenging. You don't even know what it's actually called so my guess is you tried it once, maybe twice, and then you gave up because either you simply couldn't do it, or you didn't understand it. That means you lost patience with it because you couldn't do it, not because you got bored, son. That is a completely normal reaction for the FASHION report, btw. But it's not boring. You're just too lazy to figure out how to actually do it. Nice try though, kid. It must suck to feel you have to voluntarily justify your laziness to a forum because you couldn't relate to the topic the way everyone else could, and you just want to fit in and seem cool. It's easier to stop being lazy imo. Maybe for you it's just easier to be quiet because you're full of crap :)
I said on another topic but Make it Rain is one of the better events imo because it is essentially a "MGP reward catch up event" and even discounts some things. It's great for getting those really expensive mounts (especially the airship) and some TT cards. It even highlights what you can do at the Saucer. Considering all that, the rewards normally don't matter that much to me.
