Lovely to see that pvp just like in 6.2 has a terrible mount reward and that the tank colors for the raid gear are even uglier than I imagined. Why is everything looking so phoned in and devoid of any passion? Why is there another bed mount? Where has all the actual creativity gone?
I want the tiny Ruby Weapon.
More genderlocks removed
Valentione Emissary's Dress Hat
Valentione Emissary's Ruffled Dress
Valentione Emissary's Culottes
Valentione Emissary's Dress Boots
Valentione Emissary's Hat
Valentione Emissary's Jacket
Valentione Emissary's Bottoms
Valentione Emissary's Boots
The only one in the game is bloody hard to get, even harder to get the damned mats for and is horribly expensive.Quote:
Why is there another bed mount?
Enchanted Elm is 500 EACH on Kujata alone. You need 3 AND cloudsbreath.
The bed as a mount is 1.5 million..that may have something to do with it :rolleyes:
This is even better news
along withQuote:
Items stored in the glamour dresser and armoire can now be selected from the dropdown menu when performing "Cast Glamour" at an inn room.
andQuote:
Casting a glamour using equipment stored in the glamour dresser and armoire will not consume a glamour prism.

Radiant's Gear can now be purchased in exchange for sacks of nuts from guildship hunt vendors
Yessss....Quote:
New items available in exchange for achievement certificates have been added.
Getting 1.5 million is quicker and easier than doing Zurvan for weeks. And the mounts from unreals tend to go for 9-11 million anyway.
Huzzah, new hair for bunnies and lions. Fudge me tho for new housing stuff.
I am not sure how I feel about this patch tbh...the gear does not really do much for me and the mounts just look like what we have already. I almost got a bit excited when I saw new hairstyles have been added, then I realised it is for Hroth and Viera.
Now I know they are really lacking, the Hroth especially and they should be given because they really let the races down, but come on the last decent long hair they gave was in Shadowbringers! It seems because they made the races half finished they are playing catch up and leaving the other races with hairstyles from 2010. From the lack of nice gear and also just reskinning it seems they are not really that bothered anymore. I do not use mods and never would but I have to say I can understand why people do if this is all we can get in 2023.
Uh oh, SCH has been nerfed (not really but..)
Bye bye Selene, hello faerie glamour.
Oh no they nerfed them Platebearer and Protect L, now RPR can't spawn Skoll NM alone :(Quote:
Protect L The effect has been changed from "Increases the physical defense of target by 1,000" to "Reduces physical damage taken by 22%."
Shell L The effect has been changed from "Increases the magic defense of target by 1,000" to "Reduces magic damage taken by 22%."
Wisdom of the Platebearer The effect has been changed from "Increases defense by 150% and maximum HP by 50%" to "Reduces damage taken by 80% while increases maximum HP by 50%."
Wisdom of the Guardian The effect has been changed from "Increases defense by 50% and maximum HP by 10%" to "Reduces damage taken by 45% while increasing maximum HP by 10%."
Wisdom of the Elder The effect has been changed from "Increases magic damage dealt by 35% and magic defense by 1,000, while decreasing spell MP cost" to "Increases magic damage dealt by 35% while reducing magic damage taken by 22% and decreasing spell MP cost."
Wisdom of the Indomitable The effect has been changed from "Increases defense by 2,000" to "Reduces damage taken by 64%."
But praise SE for removing genderlock for Valentione Emissary :D
Who the fuck cares for housing or hairs? Oh yes, I forgot I was playing The Sims 4
The defense thing from protect was an unintended side effect of the stat crunch that happened.
Biggest impact from this will be that Moistbox Farm Parties won't be able to do Wyverns anymore, and have to go back to Peiste/Gargoyles - which admittedly, is much less efficient. Sad times indeed.
What do they mean by rgb values in the character creation? Or the whole update about character creation?
If not for this thread, and Iscah being on point, id likely bump my thread of Misc Changes and Focus on the Small System Changes.
Interesting how they are basically highlighting which races are part of which expac now.
(though TBH, its only Shb/EW atm)
Interesting that the character sliders will show your previous position.., a MUST HAVE. Never forget what exact value you loved/liked before.(this enough, might make me wish i would bump my old thread, to see if i can get people jumping at the idea of Slider Changes in the future..,
RGB Values.., (to eye color) SE what are you doing.., (would make it possible to save the exact value of my eyes)
Bunch of Help Messages(thats neat)
Transfering hotbars seems nice, but for those that have played awhile, or are changing/making multiple sets, and etc. Probably Convenient for alts and etc.(but no real, acc wide hud, etc saving or exact action copy between characters)
(a new notice/message letting you know your Portait is still Fd up..,)
Interesting that the Font of Partymembers will change to their role type if on.(as well as that no other icons will show up over class icon on character name, asides AFK. if it is active)
Hud alignment options, helps for those that want that.(Party List align to edges)
(Increased Target to attack options. 6/7/8)
(Different Sound Effect will play after Ready check is complete depending on the amount marked Ready. useful to not have to visually check)
(and awhole lot of things that i cannot bother, since you all can read. and i personally find things more interesting)
Basically, some things in the CC, will have Exact Values shown. Which i guess the Eyecolor RGB will have that.
along with the Sliders having the previous spot marked, so you can go back if you wanted.
Actually a healthy amount of QoL and UI improvements here… I treat Endwalker as the big foundation/systematic expansion fixer. We have had issues with replay ability etc but I think this expansion has been way ahead of others with tidying up, improving old systems at a foundational level.
As in…I can pick a colour and make it more or less saturated, lighter or darker kind of thing?????

Correct, It's just showing the actual data values now instead of having to obscurely describe which row & column something is in.
More importantly, it might be indicative of Character Creation changes coming in 7.0, where we might have more control over the values, but that's just speculation.
My hype is immensurable. Even Eureka and achievements certificates received some love lol
Can't wait for the next expedition in 7.0+ and Grand Company update.
When Endwalker launched, Yoshida said they were hiring more people...those people acquiring know-how is the only explanation.
Raid armor just looks like the Euphrosyne armor again.
A new tool for trolls has been added. “Bored with the game? Not having fun with the content? Well, you didn’t clear island sanctuary yet! You don’t play the game so you shouldn’t whine about it!”
It hurts knowing that we’re essentially forced to trudge through the spreadsheet simulator in order to have dissenting opinions about the game. Is Square doing this on purpose?

Nice@the total
What in the world does the Aquarium breeding for fish tanks mean? And yay for more This is Thancred faces for ARR.
Oh and congratulations to Hrothgar who can join in the Great Lengths wearable club. I do wonder how many total they will be adding as they do tend to do more than just two.
Yeah but that was always for the expansion, you said "that's the big update" so I was wondering if I had missed something they promised for this patch that's causing the disappointment.
FWIW I don't think this is meant to be the update to playable character textures they were talking about and showing off early concepts for, just a small QoL feature.
Maybe it’s just me but I feel a significant lack of desire to rush out and do this patch like I used to. In the past, I would take off the day or two for patch days for almost every patch but now… I don’t know… maybe it’s just the lack of draw in for the current MSQ, I don’t know…
Do any of you feel like this?

Previous patches had gameplay other than the latest story and raid, which can all be finished in a weekend. Now we only have Microsoft Outlook simulator, aka Island “Sanctuary”. And that’s not to mention that the core game itself has been dumbed down so much.
At this point, it’s best to stick to a free-to-play weekend that they usually have. You can do all the patch content in those four days, including the new V&C whenever it comes out.
Until then, go have fun with some actual video games that don’t try to replicate your work software.
Man every time I see a screenshot from that one boss from the new raid tier I get blown away. Its design looks like an angel straight out of Bayonetta, I love it. Really like the QoL improvements in this too, nice to see.
Aye, same here. It's more common than you might think.
