Dear SE, about your Light And Full Party Bonuses.

You Tell us that this game will be available to Casual gamers, who if they want to solo a bit of content, then they would have no issue in doing so.

I'm not talking about dungeons, im talking about simple Brass Coffer in Natalan, me and a buddy of mine can spend all day there, farmin our asses off, But sometimes, we get strings of miss fest going on, i have 399 Acc on Warrior and im missing 5+ times in a row, leading to our death at some point.

Why SE, did you decide to make it impossible to hit the broad side of a Barn if we have less then 4 people in a Party? Thats all i want to know, give me an actual Reasoning, and maybe ill think you suck less.

I seem to only have this issue of missing when they use that Evasion Move... When they use that... I miss more then I can hit.

399 acc is quite low without party bonus, maybe you should put more. In full pt i need 380+acc to don't miss a lot.
Also, ixali have high evasion too

Equip Accuracy rings and other gear and eat some Accuracy food, problem solved. If you want to solo sometimes you have to carry around food or other gear for specific situations.

As was stated, they also have an Evasion boosting move.

I was paying attention for that, i missed 8 Auto attacks in a Row before he even used a TP move at all let alone his Evasion Boost.

The way acc works against higher level mobs is stupid. Me and a friend were duoing one of the level 59 sentries... it took us at least 5 minutes do kill him. Not that I was doing bad damage, I kept missing all the f*cking time.

Considering that the Guild Company Quests that took place in each of the beastmen strongholds had a note on them advising you to go in there with a group of 4+, the content is working as intended. You are not supposed to be able to easily solo-duo in a stronghold. This does not mean it can't be done, but if you wish to do it, you will need to be well-equipped and have the proper food/potions. You are not being penalized because you are duoing. The content wasn't designed to be optimal for a level 50 duo team.

The only problem is that it happens outside of Beastmen Strongholds too, Farming lv 50~54 Boars for example, They're only 4 levels above me at max from the ones i was killing, 397 Acc at the time, and couldnt hit them to save my life. Parsed it at around 43% Accuracy, that shouldnt happen against mobs of that lvl. at any time.

Yes, our classes/jobs are designed to be optimal soloing at 1:1 player to mob level ratios. So a level 50 character killing a level 50 boar should find the mob a decent challenge. Go two levels above the player however and you start getting on to VT and IT range. It use to be, even if soloing, that you'd kill things much higher level than you for exp. But that was changed several patches ago. The reason you can kill leve mobs +3 above your character level with ease is because the leve naturally adjusts the mobs def/hps to a solo player w/o buffs (because leves were designed to be soloed). But kill the SAME mob at the SAME level outside a leve, and it's about 20% harder to do.

There are lower level boars (40-47ish range) that are easier and faster to kill if farming mats off them. Although I can solo a level 50-54ish boar as CNJ...so again, they are killable, just not optimal for farming etc. Basically, you are not understanding what the mob levels mean vs. your player level.

Anything in game 51 and lower should be easy to solo/duo in basic gear with a basic weapon. (DC or less)

Anything 51-54 should be soloable/duoable but now, depending on mob defence type of attacks, might need some specialty gears, foods etc. Also, these mobs weren't designed for soloing at our current level and therefore are not good for farming. (VT-IT)

Anything 54+ Is probably too challenging for anyone other than a well-geared tank to kill consistantly. And even then, the only reason tanks tend to mess with them is to test their tanking ability/ action cycles. Farming anything at this level is silly. This being said, most mobs 54-60 can be killed by a full party. Also, it is possible for the occasional level 54+ mob to be slept/killed by a solo player, but your chances are lower and it requires talent and some luck. (IT-IT++)

I actually Farm those lvl ones sometimes for Spiritbonding + Farming purposes. And yes, Your giant wall of Text just told me exactly what i alrdy know about the T VT etc system, im an old FFXI player, i know how that works, But you should miss 8 attacks in a row to a mob only 5 levels above you. Thats all im saying, SE needs to re think this solo Accuracy nonsense. cause thats all it is, nonsense.

If you played FFXI then you should know it's basically the same thing, except they didn't tell you the mob was only 5 levels higher when you missed 8 times. And when I tried to explain myself in less words (and was nice about it by the way), you decided to argue that. The systems not broken, your perception of what should happen is...deal with it. So yeah like Mr. Wonderful said in the second post, 'Someone's mad they died.'

I actually dislike the whole full and light party bonus.

I don't understand why my ability to hit something magically gets better when a fourth member joins my group. We should be capable of killing tougher mobs in a group by virtue of being in a group. Not by virtue of the fact that we get magically enhanced stats because someone typed /join.

I understand why they did it, their damage formulas are borked due to the over-reliance on Dlvl and this was the easiest way to fix it. But in 2.0 I would much rather my accuracy be the same unless I am getting a very specific and deliberate buff (i.e equipment, food, bard songs, w/e.) The party bonuses are just a band-aid for lazy programming, and unless stats actually start to matter this will continue to be the case.

399 is low. Hitting 450 ACC isn't too hard on WAR if you purchase some of the Green items from dungeons and get some ACC accessories. With food you could probably hit close to 480 ACC, which is overkill. Also, like others have said Ixali have an evasion bonus.
