That's fine. I'll just beat him to death again. That's what best friends are for!
No. Please... no
If he comes back, that is quite likely a point where I will say bye to the game. He died, leave him dead, delete any future references to him, and celebrate the most 1-dimensional character is gone.
Now, if only we could rid ourselves of a certain cat-boi.
No he better come back as a Loporrits.
No, my baby knows better than that. A lalafel can’t pack all that ass nor do I want to ever see that EVER ;__;
I mean technically he is back, but as a lady with more personality.
Sure, Zenos is coming back, just like I'm going back to WoW.
WoW is basically the internet equivalent of soda. No matter how long you stay away, all it takes is one little sip to send most people spiraling back in. They all say they'll never return, but they inevitably do.
He became less 1-dimensional towards the end of his tenure as primary antagonist. If you can't see that Zenos was significantly different at his end than from when he was introduced, that's just bias speaking. Not only was fighting the WoL the only thing that ever made him feel alive, he/she was his sole reason for living.
Of course, this doesn't mean to bring him back. However, it still needs to be acknowledged that Zenos makes a very significant impact on the tale of the WoL.
I'm only okay with his return to the game if he is Lolorito's foot stool.
We are in agreement. This does not happen often, does it?
Fact is, Zenos did change quite a bit toward the end. However, the nature of that change is such that bringing him back in any form would devalue it to the point of being moot. The character's story ended in a very appropriate, impactful way.
They brought Y'shtola back how many times ?? So why not Zenos. I quite liked the guy.
Tbh I got used to this maniac running around, demanding me to challenge him in a 1v1 PvP duel. So Yeah, I don't think I'll mind him coming back.
Did he Actually "Die" though?
I mean, we didnt kill him or put him down, all we did was exhaust him and he laid down.
Now...he doesn't NEED to come back, but Id love it if he did!
He was a breath of Fresh air, not every freaking character needs to be this big complicated, deep, philosophical tragedy we have to feel sorry for or love.
Sometimes, a simple bad guy is needed. Sometimes less is More.
Indeed. It is possible to disagree and remain civil; even respectful towards the opposing PoV. That tends to go out the window when people try to argue their opinion as a fact, and/or refuse to accept the truth.
It is a fact that Zenos did undergo development throughout the story, and I do agree that bringing him back would cheapen that. Now where's my minion, Yoshi P?
If she looks like this and is this cute and I'd keep her. x3
Yoshi-P introduces the "Zenos Everywhere" system. :3
If a Lalafell can have this deep of a voice, then Zenos can figure out a way to fit all that cake into a single Lala vessal. x)
Majima Everywhere is the greatest thing ever.
He did. Both fighters fought to the brink of death, but it was Zenos who succumbed to his injuries. There are a couple of things to take from this fight that let's us know he died. The first is he said vs the WoL he needs bring his all to bear, and that he will burn his candle to the end. The second tell tale sign is that the cutscene shows his breathing cease, indicating that his flame has burned out. Zenos achieved his end goal, and there wasn't anything left for him to live for. There was no reason for him to continue holding onto his existence.
That said, the WoL also almost died and we see him/her losing consciousness. Even if his/her mind said it was ok to enter eternal sleep at this point, the heart wasn't having any of that. Unlike Zenos, The WoL's heart is full of purpose outside of an ultimate duel with the ultimate foe: Life, love, friends, adventure.
I seem to recall Yoshi-P confirming in an interview that Zenos was truly dead.
Yeah Yoshi P said something to the effect in a joking manor in the Island Sanctuary Live letter some time back but Yoshikawa flat out said it in an interview with Gaming Radar.
It seems like Yoshi P liked Zenos for what he was more that Yoshikawa did.Quote:

Lol, loved his grand entrance in Yakuza Kiwami during the starting cutscene in the Underground arena. That dude is truly a hilarious maniac and I love him for it! xD
I love Zenos and his thicc.... assets... but I don't want him coming back after the ending to 6.0. He got the end he wanted, his story is done.
zenos is dead and gone and never returning to the series (hallelujah for that)

Id rather not. Let the dead, stay dead.
He should definitely stay dead this time.
If he came back as a lalafell I would stuff him in a blender.
It does feel like they've closed the book on him to be honest. There doesn't seem to be any weight behind the 'but his avatar' argument either now, considering we know the state of play there too.
