Title.
At least put 3 minions, 1 for each group but nah would be too nice and respectful of our times.
Next try I will be uselles to my team since it seems the only way to get the minion.
Just needed to rant.

Been there, done that. It took well over a year of running Orbonne off and on for me to finally win the Ramza minion. lol
This happens to everyone. It's the same with extreme trial's mount farm. Sometimes you stay for thirty runs and get nothing, and then someone new joins the party and gets the mount in their first run. It's all RNG. In the past week the highest I rolled was a 60 once, besides that it was only 40 or below. Some people only know how to count from 80 up though, It's a matter of luck really. Some fights you will get the mount on the 5th run, some you will have to gather 99 tokens to trade them with a NPC. It sucks, but unfortunately you have to cope with it.
you have to wait until they put the extra chest's stuff into each final alliance chest drops for that to happen.
best to just give up thinking that any kind of stellar performance is supposed to lead to some kind of "deserving" chance on a roll.
Does it have to stay that way though.
Change is what makes things better if done right.
inb4 someone comes in using pointless arguments about balance, filling up queues etc etc.<not saying you will>
but the bottom line is that it doesn't have to stay that way.
Got it on second run, died once iirc :3...one minion per alliance would help a lot...
Well, 1/24 is 0,04, meaning you actually lose the 24-raid minion 96% of the time. You're welcome
Have you tried being dead 90% of the time for better luck? :p
Don't attack Nymeia in 2nd boss fight then maybe she'll favor your RNG... ;)
Don't worry, I've PL'd nearly 20 ppl, only to have my orchestrion's roll and minion stolen by carpets since the day of the patch and I'm extremely pleased.
However, I abused my queue button rather than the link to create a topic, because Dedicated of Moonlight is such a banger.
In addition the other Heal died in a loop and I received no recommendation while I solo heal on all the boss.
There's a reason why I stopped farming EX trials of the current expansion for mounts after ARR... >.>
Suppose I could go back and solo most of the old ones now unsynced... lol
Good thing is, you don't need that minion RIGHT NOW + you will do that 24-man raid every week for the next... I dunno.. months.
You'll get it eventually, don't farm to save yourself some frustration
(Something I learned over the 10 years playing this game XD)
Reward structure in Alliance raids is just bad, similar to Extremes when it comes to mounts. At least Savage gives a mount per run and respects your time in that manner.
It’s rng and the thing hasn’t been out for a week. I guess this and other loot restrictions are there to maintain participation on a longer period of time. At least it drops the minion every single time and people can’t loot it more than once so chances of getting it increase over time. Atm, the number of players who need it is at its highest so it’s the worse time to farm it.
While this is sound advice for someone's sanity - the 24-man Raid Void Ark minion Wind-up Echidna was one I always found adorable and wanted. I didn't get it when the raid released and was current, when it was farmed and somewhat challenging. The raid died down quite a bit when Stormblood released and I'd intentionally queue for it at least once a week but I'd try for at least once a day, but admittedly I didn't play daily every week and certainly took a lengthy break in 4.1 - returning in 4.4. But that was the biggest break by far.
Consistently played, maintaining my same, "Eh, I'll get it eventually" mentality. It's not a minion you can roll on if you already own it. Surely, the number of players who have Void Ark unlocked will funnel the chances into my favor of obtaining it, right?
I didn't get that minion until Endwalker. 6.1, I think (might've been the end of 6.0). When I convinced some people I knew to undersize the raid for no other reason than to get the minion. That's a long, long time to get a minion and even then, I didn't get the minion in the "standard" fashion. I had to force it to finally get it.
I rolled a 1 on the Omicron minion when the highest was a 16.
After 2 years i finally got the Weeping City minion and i totally forgot about it lol...although I know this one from current raid will be painful, i just adore it...
true be told they should allows us to trade for it, like how you can get the items to upgrade your gear
Even worse? Rolling 90+ on it and still losing
Still salty about those times I rolled 97/98 and lost.
It's like the game said "F* YOU in particular"
I might be miss-remembering this, but i think part of the problem back then was that the minion also didnt drop every run. I remember a couple of them i never got until they upped the minion drop to 100%. Now they start at 100%, so the odds are better. But RNG can still RNG. I know there was at least one nier mini i never got and eventually have to go back for. So far ive only done the new one once(i got a gear piece and music roll first run, so havent been grinding it at least so far), and my roll of 69 was no where near high enough.
minions are not required to play the game
RNG doesn't care about how useful or useless you were.
Get over it, RNG will be RNG regardless of your own personal feelings and accomplishments.
lol. This has been my experience for the past few years, losing loot rolls to the person who is dead for the majority of the fight. So much so that im convinved theres some sort of pity roll luck system we dont know about.
Neither is frequenting the OF's yet here we are.
People like collecting stuff. This game prides itself on collecting stuff, there are achievements for it. Meaning it's part of the gameplay experience intended by the devs to be able to collect things.
If our bare minimum is being able to load the game and access a server, then that bar is so low it's drilled a hole to china. Nor is the bar "being capable of killing stuff", because several people don't even play the game for the PvE section and actually like crafting and gathering, only really engaging in PvE when they need to progress with the MSQ to access new areas.
Last time I raided lost every roll and took 5 runs just to win any item. Never raid anymore because of the RNG to the rolls.
this is me with the menphina TT card
i always get low rolls its very rng indeed
its rare but i do occasionally get a 97 need roll on one loot piece
but then again it took me 6 runs of manalis for the cagnazzo card
and barbariccia dropped from my first run of storms crown nm
