I'm honestly not sure what the slight nerfs for DRK and NIN is suppose to do for them. Well, NIN probably to react and set up things faster maybe), but DRK? Lol
And we're seeing a lot less of c9 and volcano map at least for this patch. I feel sorry for those that heavily relies on those 2 maps just to climb in their ranks.
Thank God that DNC did not receive another buff. I feel as though they're somewhat overbuffed as is.
Main ninja here. even if somebody will say it's not a big deal, i feel that 5 seconds to my shukuchi.. IT IS a big deal.
Pls stop nerf ninja. Aside its gimmick lb it's a support mid/high dmg class, not a superduperdmg like monk or smt.. it's more a supporter, finisher class.. now you gimped his survivability even more T_T

While I don't feel like the shukuchi change is that big of a deal apart from lowering the chance of ninja escaping situations they shouldn't have been in to begin with (which we can all agree happens too often) I am shocked they doubled down on the wrong fix for the LB issues. The timer is the problem? REALLY? It's the maximum number of uses of death linking that's always been a problem. I guess the WAR changes are kind of nice and everyone will probably love the DRK change but please fire the person adjusting ninja. What a joke.
You're not a support class. You have too much damage to even think about slapping that onto your description. 27K in ranged shurikens, up to quadra stuns with another 16k burst, a 20k DoT, and a 12k on assassinate. Your job is just a cracked assassin with (thanks to a probably now fired dev) too much sustain/mobility that you should've never had (as no assassin-type jobs in any game are ever supposed to have) to the point you're getting nerfed every patch and it's still not enough.
Feel like the one change I've actually noticed and appreciate is my Bard Limit Break being a little more effective, still wish it had a degree of damage dealing or crowd control to put it on the level of most other LBs though. As a whole I don't feel I'm seeing enough changes on the patch notes to be confident that there will be any real difference or changes in the balancing of Frontline. I thought with what I read in the love letter that maybe the devs understood that they'd need to have different rules or some different abilities in FL concerning crowd control or debuff immunity as well as cheesy one hit gimmicks but it seems they're trying to stick to having things in CC and FL run exactly the same.
I remember when i started doing seriously CC and Frontline with the new kits i started obsessively studing ALL dps kits, by searching rotations online etcetera..
remember that Ninja was BEYOND all other dps in potencies...
Sure, Ninja has more versatility, shield, heal etc, but that is at cost of their dps. All skills directly comparable are lower potencies than other melees so...
guess i'll jump on monk train...
NIN doesn't lack DPS, it lacks alpha strike. It's like RPR, except it's less support oriented and more about securing kills and disruption.

War buff was nice, 20% of hp cost was way too much, nice they toned that down.
Objectively speaking - yes it is.
Reasonably speaking - no it isn't. The only thing that realistically changed for you is that you can't escape fights as frequently and have to be more methodical, which is hardly a problem given how many ranged moves you have as NIN. At 20s for your teleport along with access to an additional heal and a shield, you have plenty of survival options. NIN is a jack-of-all-trades, so dialing it back a bit doesn't hurt it that much.
Yes i have to admit my question was a bit without point, i think the problem is i didn't say what i really wanted to say and i apologize xD
1) First of all i found that my problem came probably from an habit point of view: so if i press shukuchi, i don't look at my bar, my mind start counting subconsciously from 15 and THINK that shukuchi is ready (but it is not anymore). but i guess i'm starting to adjust by now..
2) what i wanted to say but i expressed poorly, is that i am sad that ninja keep getting nerfed BECAUSE i think people OVERESTIMATE it. I keep seeing even in this forum, posts like: break ninja knees, and so on!
Ninja is strong, but is not OP. I see people saying that ninja has heal, has shields, have damage etc, but the point is that it can not do everything AT ONCE. Its strenghts come from nice dmg (ok) and adaptibility imho.
3) Ninja main perks comes with a "server cost": a) Shukuchi-> 90% of the time i teleport, even after the full animation i get attacked by smt and lose my hide. b) LB -> 50% of the times it does not goes off if i do not attack someone guarding or stunned, cause even if i count ONE ENTIRE MISSISIPY during animation, and after that mississipi the target heal himself, my oneshot will not go off. (and i'll do shit dmg)
So to summarize my point is: Ninja is probably a strong class, and i love it in FL cause i think it is THE ONLY one capable to countering TANKS and strong melees (wanna talk about monks shields? or drg invuln lb? and of course other ninjas) that have also a lot of DR%. BUT it is not OP IMHO, SO pls stop with nerfing it, even if the nerfs are little

edit2: i forgot another thing, PERSONALLY, ninja teleport is the worst cause it needs 2 steps to activates. i PERSONALLY would prefer if it was just an istant dash forward, or at least i would love if there was a macro to do it.
