It really is. From its layout, to its mechanic, to the colors in the field; it's by far the best of the maps. It really does put the other maps to shame, so much so, that I dislike playing any other frontline map but it.

I like it because the map feels fun and aysmetric without being totally fucked like Seal Rock.
It was, until the pala exploid...
With paladins insta capping points? It used to be my favorite. Now it's least favorite. A pity really.
I'm beginning to believe its intentional. Patches are coming and going and they seem reluctant to do anything about pala cheese
At the moment Onsal Hakair is actually the worst map to play on because people just cheat. One time a teammate even suggested doing it and I told them I'd rather lose. Not sure why people are so okay with using an exploit just because it seems like SE is ignoring it.
Personally I prefer Fields of Glory (Shatter) because it focuses more on actually fighting each other between spawns instead of just drive-by point-taking.
It actually works on seal rock too (seen people do it), it's just that you can recapture there so it's less effective.
But yeah, SE is just actively refusing to do anything about the PLD exploit at this point, so I have to say it's the worst game mode now.
I've seen too many teams hard carried by pld abuse to see Onsal as anything but a joke at this point. To the point where I don't even play it for the daily roulette. The instant I see cover cheese I just accept the fact that the teams who don't use it are playing with a massive inherent disadvantage, and my efforts become half-hearted and unmotivated.
It's way too easy to set up, most jobs have ZERO ways to counter it, and I'm just done. Done standing there uselessly while invincible enemies wade through the chaos and auto-cap.
Boycotting the whole map until a change is made. Losing to it is the worst feeling ever, and winning with it feels cheap and unearned.
It's the best by virtue of being the smallest, quickest, and most kill-friendly, which makes it less boring and good for achievements. Getting to keep objectives also helps.
It makes it a bad map from the enjoyment PoV. It's not fun to play the 'objectives' when the objective is getting yoinked from under the noses of over 24 people. So yes. Currently? Worst map. Exclude PLD? Pretty fun.
Shocker I wonder why people are mentioning pld cover in a map where pld cover makes the mode objectively worse ahahaha
Shatter is still by far the best map because it focuses more on actual fighting, and the ice spawns are actually fair.
Just like seal rock, onsai can be a lose simply because the leading team keeps getting all the good points close to their base, hate the rng of the point spawning on both these maps and wish it would be changed, though it's even worse on seal rock if west team keeps getting points near them due to the giant advantage they have of capping and defending those points.
