I've only been playing this for half an hour, but I just needed to tell someone that I love this content so, so much!! The music, the title cards, the dialogue, the gameplay! It's amazing and I love it, thank you so, so much for making this for us!

My friend has her house up already and I've been running around doing hairstyles for my characters.
Gotta say I love the content too. I was so hyped and I am not disappointed. It's relaxing, the music is cute, it's huge and there are plenty of things to buy so the farm is worth it.
So much fun I am really enjoying this so thank you Devs ^O^
Haven't touched anything else but Inland Sanctuary. It's been fun and enjoyable and I hope they keep doing updates to it :)
How big is the patch? I might get screwed with hotel internet.
Island Sanctuary Day 1: RAIN! Lol
Stepped off the boat and first thing I get is rain pouring down. I can see why the annoying mammet thought they were going to rust to dust before I got back.
It also didn't make much sense when one of them said "just look at all that sunshine for growing crops". Lol
My only complaint is that isn't like housing. I can't be the first to get on and get one just to tell the people who log in 0.001 seconds after me "you snooze, you lose" when they don't get one.
Finished the Pandemonium raids for the week and it's story. I wanted to get them out of the way. There is a patch for another game today as well. I'll get around to this later today, so I'm glad to see it being received well. I was planning on doing this next, then just PvP casually.
Only just started, and Ive fallen in love already. Love it..the briiliant sunshine, the scenery....its magnificent. Perfect place to just chill and wander.
HUGE kudos to the team that came up with this idea.
This is basically how I plan on going about it as well. Get the Pandemonium stuff out of the way first since later in the week is when people start to get lazy and want to be carried(I tend to find Tue-Thur are the good raid nights, the rest until reset is questionable at best). Then gradually work on MSQ/island sanc/farming coins in Aglaia.
Anybody found a way to hide minion names on the island? I have the setting to "Only When Targeted" but that doesn't work for the island. Tiresome to see all these minion names don't we think? Love the feature, but let's hide the names. Also, I can summon a minion I have released so that's good.
Hum..... That's really odd. After a while the minion names just disappeared. Ok. Problem solved. Maybe the setting I have finally took. Dunno.
Enjoying it so far, but its annoying how I can't pin what I need when building something. I have to keep going in and out checking the management page to see what i need next.
wouldn't mind if it stayed open but every window closes as you harvest something.
Minor annoyance but over all its fun :)
Could always take a screenshot and open it on another screen(if you are able to), or take a picture with your phone and have that open for reference. Or, go old school, and write it down. Word is a good use as well, so that you aren't needing to find the paper you wrote in to work on later.
Listen, I was not expecting much from this content but as a big Stardew/RuneFactory fan, this is 100% my kinda style!
I've been addicted in my island since patch went up! I cannot believe how expansive this is, how the hell am I supposed to play the rest of the game!!
I can't wait to see this system grow and see what else they add to it! Also grateful for the useful rewards as a housing/crafter main!!
Finally got off work and could sit down and play 6.2 and 10 minutes in Island Sanctuary.... I love this place. The music 10/10
Decend patch, love it.
Very nice work on the Island.
Greetz o/
btw...is this the thread where we admit, that we lied to our ex girlfriends and actually DID play all the girly farmin games...behind their backs?

Get that rare!
Just 1 day messing around with it and have basically done everything I can (gotta wait a real day or whatnot to progress).
The actual content/map/story/vibes are great, but the mechanics… I felt some jankiness.
Like the need for various “modes” could have been more contextual. As in, have the pet bar pop up with relevant skills when contextual things are going on (like interacting with livestock), or utilize existing jobs (botanist/miner) to collect materials. Or why the need to go into “watering mode” when I could just interact with the garden bed. Or the sow mode, when we have a perfectly good garden system from housing.
The gimmicks could all be the same, but it just feels like they could have utilized existing systems.
I guess they are trying to emulate the hot bar from animal crossing or stardew valley?
Some nitpicks, and minor ones… Otherwise, I am enjoying it.
How do you unlock this island sanctuary?
Do you suppose we will unlock more gathering items as we level up the island? I can't seem to find copper ore yet, so I'm curious if it's just not available yet.
Its been interesting, but a little annoying too.
The house isn't in a great spot. Its surrounded by rock walls and doesn't have much of a view. The first landmark spot would have been way better, in my opinion.
With isle sprint having such a short CD, why not just make it a toggle, or at least up the duration? Would be a nice QoL thing since refreshing it here doesn't serve a purpose.
I hope the later versions of the house look better. Not big on the gaudy decorations hanging of the early ones.
I don't know that everything needed to be its own mode.
It just miss a tracking materials for building. and everything else is nice ! :)
I would love for a way to pin a construction project i'm working on and it show what materials is needed where the instance information is. Also, I hope a ton of things are not subject to decay. When I saw that the plants could decay I was worried that the game is coaxing me into logging in every day, (as if we need it enough due to the number of systems tied to dailies/weeklies, lol). Also, I don't mind if anyone spoils me on this but will there be more meaningful ways to customize the island? So far all I saw is the basic placement of the buildings and the flooring and walls of the main base. All in all, it's a 7/10. There is promise and i'm curious to see how they are going to expand on this idea!
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but I found it easier on the hands to use a controller when gathering things over M/KB. Figure I'd put it out there incase it helps someone!
Fell in love with this already.
I can't wait to try it when I get home. Y'all are making it hard to get through the day.
Way too overpraised in this thread.
This feels like something put together by a couple people as some sort of side project over the summer.
Sure, it looks alright and the music is nice, when isn't it? However what else is there? Everything feels very static. Gameplay is literally run, click and done. FFXIV already has decent systems for gathering, crops, etc but none of it was used. It's very simple, overly so.
Is it bad? no. Is it good? not at all. It's just alright. I'm pretty let down by it personally.
You stumbled on the likely answer there in your comment on botanist / miner. The modes basically work the same as those jobs. When you switch to a gatherer anywhere else, the respective nodes go active. The same is happening with these modes.
It makes a little more sense when you use a controller.
Soulless grind Diadem #5, not disappointed since it's what I expected it to be, it exists for you to farm tokens.
Yeah I dunno. I'm gonna hold judgement until I play a decent chunk of it but so far pretty underwhelming. I dunno how anyone can get a feeling of harvest moon from it, though. There's no crop planning aside from sticking seeds in predetermined plots and if I had to guess, I bet there won't be a sprinkler system installed for improved automation (Thus far it just seems you use crops to feed animals anyway). Like I adore harvest moon, rune factory, and stardew. This ain't it. But so far, I'm just gonna truck along. Maybe it'll surprise me later.
