Hey everyone, im a starter player, this is the first MMORPG i have ever played, i was here for about 2 weeks just after christmas, then lost my internet access, i got it back a few days ago and the servers been down, and now im quite sure when i log back in when the servers are up, im not going to have a linkshell :(
Anyway, i need an active linkshell, who are happy to nurture a new player :)

I think the problem is that if you enter some info and something gets flagged, the anti-spam image disappears. From there you'll continue to run into that message saying a field is considered spam. Previously after a few attempts you'd be locked out. I just increased the number of attempts before it locks you out. I was able to successfully register a test account just now though. -

I never really understood the whole formal application thing. Can't you just chat with them in-game about the stuff you want to know before inviting them?

We have our reasoning for the application but it's not what you think. Since we're global LS, the website serves as a communication hub for us outside of the game. I have found that it's much more difficult to get folks to sign-up for the website after they are in the LS than beforehand. If members don't have a forum account they miss out on a lot of information about linkshell events and so forth.
The application process itself actually serves as a way to get information out to my officers and to the applicant. It's not really for approval/denial based on it's contents. -
