So, it struck me today that some racial poses and animations, and in some cases even gender ones, fit incredibly well for other races or genders, such as au ra idle poses on miqo'tes, or male miqo /joy for female. it made me think back to warframe, where every frame have two sets of animations, that you can then purchase to use on any frame.
Would it, then, be so far fetched to do the same for 14? If Square told me "okay, so if you put down some lunch money, you can get to have au ra idles poses on your catgirl" then I'd pay that in a heartbeat, and I bet that there are a lot of you out there who would love to have x on y. Revenue from this could then also support polishing animations and poses that the community considers less good, or make them work better on other races and genders. Overall, this feels like easy money for something that would just add to one of 14's core strengths - freedom of self expression.
What do you guys think?

I'm happy to keep certain things race and/or gender specific. It adds flavor to the game. The animations are what make miqo'te miqo'te, rather than just hyurs with cat ears.

Keeping track of "which pose set to use" would require increasing the amount of things tracked by the character data, which it seems they either can't or just don't do.

As for the somebody who insinuates I'm a shill, I'm actually quite anti-exploitation in every regard, but making money from this would mean Square would have more production and effort into it, because companies wants to make money. Of course, its my 2 cents. -

Yeah, I'm a whale. I've spent a couple thousand dollars on Mog Shop stuff for myself, alts, and friends since ARR.
I'd also be willing to pay 20 to 25 dollars a month because that's still cheap entertainment that lasts 30 days.
As for my zero self respect... I'm not sorry I have money to spend on things I want inside and outside of the game lol. -

Nah, after having them take the Highlander male pose, and give it to everyone with the Manderville and /flex emote, I'd rather they didn't give away each race's/sex's unique motions.
