So I don't mind doing daily roulette stuff. However... It is completely pointless doing it on your main. But if you want your tomestones, this is a way to get them. You don't need that small amount of gil. The gear is not an upgrade. You don't need any XP. So you're only doing it for the tomestones. But why do you need to do this on your max level character?
Why not unlock these perks when 1 job reaches max level. So your alt can do the main scenario, or leveling stuff and you still receive the tomestones. This makes a run way more timeworthy. This also opens up the potential to get more healers and tanks in queue. Maybe your main is a DPS but you want to level a healer on the side. Well now you can and you get your daily / weekly tomestone cap!
So that basicly only leaves the expert mode roulette for your main and you can do other stuff on your alts. But I think that is fine. But for the casual players among us with only a few hours to play. Doing your daily stuff soaks up most of your playtime and you don't really have time to experience stuff on alt jobs.

Roulettes are worth doing on alts for the XP though. Isn't that good enough? Not sure what the request is. You can get your weekly tomestone cap by just doing Expert roulette every day (and you can skip a few days), you don't need any of the other daily roulettes for tome stones, so use them for XP for your alts. There are only a handful of roulettes that are even worth it for XP OR tome stones anyway. For Capped Tomestones, Alliance, Expert, and MSQ are worth it and for XP Leveling, Frontlines, and MSQ are the ones worth it.

Better to do the roulette with the character that you intend to have receive reward.
When you've got limited time to play, alts really are not a good idea (though I understand the appeal). You've got to make the choice on which character's progression is more important to you. -

Doesn't it only take 5 days worth of expert roulette(less depending on if you get the first time bonus) to hit your weekly tomestone cap?
I use leveling, level 50-80, trials, main scenario, alliance raids and frontline for my non-90 jobs still. I'm a little bit strategic about it though. Again, I heal/tank my expert queues. And if I feel like I might be busy, I usually try my best to use one of my non-90 healers/tanks for the rest of the queues. If I'm not busy, then I use it for my DPS but I usually find something to do irl while I afk and wait for the queue. -

It is just a quality of life feature request. "You only have to do expert every day for 5 days". Exactly... Also, they are going to increase the cap in the next major patch. So you only have to do expert for 7 days, main scenario for 7 days and alliance raids for 3 days to get your cap. While I am more than capable in doing these type of content on different characters. It would be nice to do level 50 content on an alt and get these rewards.

The point of the rewards is that you get what that character "needs" to progress. For max level jobs that's tomestones and for non-max level jobs that's XP. If you get tomestones AND XP for non-max level characters, why would anyone play roulettes on a max level job? -

I believe in a bit of give and take, that you probably shouldn't be able to gain end game tomes for rouletting a job that's not endgame. That doesn't make sense and it feels a bit overwhelming.
But FFXIV is also one of the least demanding games out there and this definitely feels a little bit in line with the idea of reducing daily grind. -
