Please Add Roles to Crystal Conflict

It's amazing how many times you queue into a match and instantly know that your time is going to be wasted and your rank is going to piss in the wind.

I prepose that required roles are needed for CC
1 Tank for each team
1 healer
3 DPS
this is the most fair way I can think of making CC a better experience for everyone. Especially in ranked

And then people will complain when the get GNB vs enemy WAR or SCH vs WHM. While it would be nice to have more balanced queues overall they would need to re-adjust the roles first.

For some reason the game counts Tanks and Healers into same slot if they can't find equal amount of either, I've never seen something like 1 tank 4 dps vs 3 heal 2 dps, it's always 1 tank 1 heal 3 dps or 2 heal 3 dps in those cases.

Lastly I'm against this because as SCH I always want secondary healer in my team and preferrably 1-2 Tanks so I can just straight up grind the enemy team out in long games.

Just make all classes into DPS.

Yep role lock was the number one reason Feast queue died. The jobs also aren't balanced for roles anymore. Role lock is a terrible idea that will without doubt kill PvP again.

the pvp changes dont have the jobs lcoked to a specific niche anymore, so trying to hammer them back into that will just bring back the same olf problems, or lead to watering down their current (very fun and flavorful) kits to facilitate it

If they do this then the que will take forever to pop like it did in Feast for DPS roles.

To be fair you can still win with whatever set up is.

Ive always said just straight out remove tanks and healers from pvp, add more potions or whatever and make it dps only, way easier to balance...

You mean that because pvp is garabge and the rewards dried up just like what will happen with CC in a couple months?

I don't agree with this.

They just need to hotfix issues. Honestly I get like 700 points and lose even more by not even trying because its become so stale, just luck of the draw.

This system works but it can't work if its being neglected lmao.

This is such a fallacy of an argument. CC isnt the same game mode. I didnt play the feast not because of the queue times but just because as a game mode it was abject trash, it wasnt fun. It was literally WoW arena levels of "Player vs Pillar" and I was not here for it.

no I mean nobody played the game mode bc queue times were in the 30 minute range or worse for most of every expansion. CC will be fine bc its actually fun and enjoyable, not to mention due to no role restrictions it will likely keep its low queue times well into next season.

People liked the feast too when it started.

Roles would be pointless. You can win against 2 tanks 1 healer 2 dps or even 1 tank 2 healers 2 dps as 5 dps.

It's all about focus. Whichever team has the best coordination and focus wins.

Five people focusing one person down is an instakill pretty much.

At the very least the matchmaking should ensure that if it pulls 1 healer the other team should also have a healer. Its pretty silly to see 2 healers on 1 team and all dps or 4 dps and a tank on another team.

Lack of roles is what'll keep queues quick.

Lack of balance is what will kill them as well. If there's two healers why stack them onto one team?
